Maddie just nodded, a smile coming to her lips "alright," she said softly. "Yeah, he'll run barrels too, he's actually pretty decent" she explained. She looked back to the trailer "I brought my stud for barrels, though, Sam isn't trained" she said and giggled as Sam reached back to nip her boot. "Alright, lets go stand and watch" she said as she asked Sam to walk on. He began walking, swinging his hips lazily.

Patrick took out another cigarette and then chucked his empty pack into the garbage as he lit it with his dads old lighter.. He then walked around and began to visit with other calf roping and bullroping contestants..

Melody watched Patrick as he walked over to the other contestants and stood silently in the same spot she had been before. There wasn't anyone to talk to except Sadie and she didn't know where she was but she knew that Sadie's event was coming up soon and prepared herself to watch.
