Dae wasn't sure if she would like the class or not but she had agreed to take it so she was trying to stay somewhat positive about the whole thing. She was pretty happy though when she walked in to find that Jaxon was here too. "Hey" A smile rose over her face as she said this.

Jaxon looked around at the motley crew of kids and young adults standing there, waiting for the director to finally show up. He'd done a minimal amount of acting in Highschool, but this is a whole nother ballroom. He tugged at the winter coat, trying to keep whatever warmth he had left from escaping and a familiar face brought a grin to his. "Hey Fae. Fancy seeing you here. That crazy cook got you hooked into this whole drama thing, too?" He glanced around once again and then back at the waif. "Bit of a wanker to make us freeze like this, ain't he?"

There were a lot of kids here, like seriously. She didn't think that there would be a lot of kids here but she was apparently very wrong. She heard Jaxon talk to her and she responded..."Yea, maybe it will be fun though..." She wasn't sure how she felt about acting in front of so many other people. She had a bit of stage fright and she was sure she could get over it but she didn't know very many of these kids. Her eyes wandered the room nervously. "Yea it is kind of cold in here isn't it?" She pulled her sweat-shirt closer to her body and crossed her arms.

Rubbing his hands together and blowing into them. "I guess we really can't complain... they're letting us use the place free of charge. At least Bernard said he's trying to secure a propae space heater for us to use and the changing room in the back has heat." Glancing around as a couple approaches, both wearing University sweatshirts.
The blonde girl flashes a too-easy smile at Fae that seem to appraise and dismiss in the polished way of socialites. Her voice is low as she querried Jaxon quietly. His answer is little more than a shrug and a quick "He didn't say anything last night." Jaxon's eyes seem to elaborate on the concept with an open pleading before they girl and guy move on to another promising lead to the where-abouts of Bernard, the director and company leader.

Dae was probably more used to the cold then Jaxon, not to insult him or anything but he lived in a house with heating and she lived in a trailer with no heating. She wasn't actually that cold but she was shivering a little. "Honestly if they made us change in rooms that weren't heated I would have a problem" She laughed and smiled at him. When the couple walked up and the girl asked Jaxon a question she was obviously doing more than asking him a simple question. Wow, she hated girls like that, if you have a boyfriend why do you need to hit on other boys? Dae wouldn't be surprised if that girl was already cheating on her boyfriend. She let a smirk as she watched the girl walk away.

Jaxon rolled his eyes at the girl's backside and turned back to Fae. "Sorry. Allison's in one of my classes at school. Has a bit of a high opinion of herself since she's a cheerleader and shit. Only reason she keeps that boy on tow is cuz he's got a trust fund, ya know?" He glances around and watches as Bernard finally shows, talking to a couple of the older, more key members of the troupe. Jaxon takes a moment to point out some of the people.
Leaning in closer, he points out a few people, giving her an overview of the general collegiate crowd of kids, including one English professor who's supposedly helping with scripting. At one point, Bernard asks for everyone to quiet up a moment and starts to talk about his grand idea of an independant theatre company and plays and such, but that right now, he's looking to form a core group of actors and to help train them. He goes on rather lengthy about wanting to bring up a new generation of thespians and trubadours, finally ending with asking that everyone start to figure out a monologue to memorize and to pair off with someone to try critiquing acting skills.
With that said, Jaxon raises one eyebrow. "Care to pair off? Seems kinda a good place to start, right? We're already quite used to a bit of honest expression." Jax grins wryly at Fae as he says that.

((Thats a lot of bold, Lol)) "Yea, I know what you mean. Girls can be snobby sometimes." Dae doesn't really pay attention as she hears Bernard talking, she knows what hes saying but she's also thinking about something else at the moment too. She watches as Jaxon asks her to pair off with him, "I'd be glad to kind sir" She curtsies and laughs. This acting thing will actually be easier for her than she thought, she had a weird personality so she really didn't care what people thought of her.

Jaxon suppresses a roll of his eyes at her antics and sweeps back into a rather elegant bow. As he straightens up, he mentions "Now I almost feel like I should step into a waltz or ballroom dance. Thats how most of those start!" he finishes with a laugh. As the rest of the crowd pairs off, the blonde starts to make her way back toward him and Jaxon slowly turns around and, speaking a little loudly so that she'll overhear him and hopefully stave off an awkward moment, "Would you like to start, madam?", effecting a half-decent formal accent as he does so, giving Fae a private wink and subtly guesturing toward the approaching Allison.

Dae noticed how Jaxon was gesturing toward Allison as she was making her way toward Jaxon. Aahh Dae thought, he really doesn't want to be paired with her. In order to hold Allison from becoming overly embarrassed in front of all these people Dae too spoke a little louder than normal. "Well could you go first?" She asked returning to her proper voice, it was nice to act the way she was before but she didn't feel comfortable starting when she knew that Allison was standing right there watching them.

Jaxon bit back a reply just then, his mind running quick to see if he could come up with... something. But the great plays eluded him and he fell back to something a little more common: drama. Quickly composing himself, he screwed up his face into one of hate and vileness. Practically spitting the words, he hissed out savagely. "Foul and faithless bitch of hell! Scorning me for that ... twit! And now. Now! You come back, crawling on your petticoat after having gotten full of his spawn and being dumped in the gutter like the spineless worm you are! How dare you think to bewitch me with the love we once held and promises that you've shattered against the same stone of villiany that you smashed my heart upon. Begone, witch! Begone before I let loose my rage and fists upon your soft, worthless flesh!" Stepping back and breathing heavily from the impromptu performance, he takes a few deep breaths to steady himself, levelling his gaze at Fae and pointedly ignoring the faint applause by Allison and a few stand-bys. A long minute goes by before he raises a single eyebrow that seems to ask the question, Well?.

Dae wasn't very surprised when Jaxon started yelling for his part of the acting. She watched Allison's face build with surprise, as if she didn't ever think someone like Jaxon would ever work with someone like Dae. She folded her arms a little more and leaned her weight onto her left foot as she stood and watched his performance, she saw a couple of people who were close by look over to watch him also. She waited until he was done but didn't give her reply immeadietly, she waited a minute and thought. "Yea, that was really good." She hadn't even flinched that much, she figured it was because she was used to people blowing up in her face like that. Her brother did it to her all the time, the only difference was that he didn't swear at her, he just said that she was useless and other stuff like that.

Jaxon was still flush from the tirade and nodded, taking in the compliment easily. "Thanks. It's not easy for me to let go like that, but once I'm there I have to let it all out, y'know? So, anything I could improve upon, you think? I'll be honest that I don't really even know what I look like when I'm acting and always so worried it looks completely wrong." He ignored Allison's feeble attempt at gathering his attention and finally she stomped away in disgust, throwing Fae a rather flat, angry look. A quick grin of triumph flashes across Jaxon's face and he looked like he was about to thumb his nose at her but adjusted it so that he merely scratched his chin awkwardly. "Well, that should take her off, right?"

Dae laughed at Allison as she walked off and completely ignored her attempt to look angry. She could probably be a good actress as a bitch Dae thought to herself. "Well you honestly don't need to worry because you looked really convincing. Maybe use your body more to show your anger though, or whatever emotion your attempting." She tried to think of other things that she could say about his performance, oh! "And also when you finish talking maybe like walk off angry or something? Just to add that affect, you know what I mean?" She thought about how he had ignored Allison and asked him a question..."Yea, so you really don't like her huh?" She had no idea why Jaxon wouldn't like a girl like Allison, she was pretty, popular, and a cheerleader. All a guy could want in a girl.

Taking it in with good applomb, he nodded carefully, making mental notes on future performance. "So be more expansive with my arms then? Threatening toward the girl?" he says, stepping a little closer into your comfort zone with his hands raised and fingers curled, all the while without changing his own facial features more than a twitch. "Like this?" he querried before relaxing his stance and backing off just slightly, though still close. "Yeah, didn't think about walking off. Was just keeping it contained, but you're right."
Not quite taken back by the question, he tried to consider a suitable answer. "Allison and I were friends back before highschool. Both of us awkward kids. But she blossomed early while I blossomed late, and took full advantage of her early beauty, casually discarding our friendship when she became popular and I was a lower rung. She's tried a few times to try and rekindle a 'friendship' a few times before, once even going so far as to kiss me and try to pass it off as being drunk. She's still superficial and it's more out of spite than anything that I spurn the bitch. She's hot, but I don't want anything to do with her. The Allison who was once my friend is long gone." He shrugged as if that were all.

"Yea exactly, just seem like you want to hurt her." Dae took a deep breath and held it when he moved closer to her. She listened patiently to his answer on her last question, she liked how he was honest with her and didn't just say something stupid as an excuse. It sounded like it was hard for him to talk about it though. That was the problem with girls though, they couldn't ever decide what they wanted and once they did something that hurt them they would immeadietly regret it and try to do something to change it. That was why she often thought before she did things. Still looking at Jaxon she let out her breath slowly and quietly hoping that he hadn't noticed.
