How They Met: His father is a dance teacher and she's one of his best students. When Jax was younger, he always treated Marie as the little sister he'd never had. He still treats her that way, but even he can't help but notice the woman she's becoming.
Memories: He remembered the first time his father paired the two of them up together so that Jax could provide a competent partner for Marie's more formal dance education. Jax realised almost immediately that she was a born natural and even outshone him.
Anything Else: They're very close though in the past year, a bit of a distance has grown, more because she's blossomed and he's been unable to avoid noticing. It makes him think things he's really not quite ready to think about her.
