Relaxing with Jolie

The woman had made her way to the back of Jolie's legs, she'd been standing basically all day so she was thankful when the masseuse massaged them. "Sounds like you busied yourself while you were there." She smiled alittle. The tattoo had been discovered by Jolie just yet, but she really hadn't been looking for one either. The idea of Marie having one with her boyfriend's name might shock her, especially since they used to laugh at the girls that would do that.

Marie streched as the woman moved down to her legs and her tiny feet. Marie was small in body size but she wasnt helpless. She could do things for herself. "I did, I mean it wasnt like I made friends because no one there really had true friends so I distanced myself. Jared did come and visit me a couple of times thought"

"That's good, I wish I could've had a chance to fly up there to see you." Jolie told her with a sigh, she really would've if she could've taken off of work and if it weren't for school. "So..when did you and Derek start dating?" She asked curiously.

Marie smiled. "Its fine Jo, we talked on the phone almost everyday so im not upset" Marie would of gone crazy if she hadnt been able to talk to Jolie. She smiled thinking about Derek"Well I got this anynonmus letter a couple days ago you know he always used to do that" She pressed her lips together then continued. "I met him at the beach club and he confessed that he had always loved me and asked me to be his girlfriend" That was probably one of the happiest days of Maries life

It was good to atleast get to talk over the phone, Jolie had to agree, but it still didn't come close to being able to hang out with her best friend. She smiled listening to Marie as she told her about how she and Derek got together. It was funny, someone she had always heard such bad things about doing something so sweet. "Aww.. that sounds really nice Marie."

Marie smiled softly. "You know Derek hasnt had the easiest life, but neither have I. And you know how he rescued me that night, well you know what happened." Marie had always looked up to Derek like someone who would take care of her but it was more than that, a lot more. "He really cares about me Jo, I mean I've never felt this way. I could have almost any guy in Drakesville but I never wanted any of them"

Jolie nodded her head, she knew all about that night. She was completely repulsed that some guy would try to take advantage of any girl. "Marie that's really sweet. I'm happy for you, it's so great that you found someone to make you feel that way. I'm completely jealous." She smiled.

Marie smiled. "Thanks Jo, I know you will find someone that you feel the same way about wether its sooner or later." It always suprised Marie when Jolie had guys problems I mean just look at them. "I think its time to go get our nails done. She stood up and waited for Jolie her tattoo now in perfect view

"Yeah, sooner or later." Jolie repeated, sighing softly. It wasn't for lack of not being able to find a guy, she just didn't want a guy that was after just one thing. Of course Jolie wasn't really what most people would call innocent, but she did have standards for herself. "Yeah, mine need to be done. They're so..blah." She sat up, catching a glimpse of the tattoo for once. "Mar? What is that?" She asked making her way towards her friend to get a closer look. Her eyes widened alittle. "When'd you get this?"

Marie smirked. "Jo what are you talking about, when did I get what?" She continued to walk to the next room and took a seat in one of the chairs. How the hell was she supposed to explain her tattoo to Jolie. Marie didnt regret getting it, she decided by herself to get it and it wasnt anyone elses decision

"Um.. that tattoo maybe?" Jolie quirked an eyebrow at her friend. "Stop acting so coy about it, I've already seen it." She followed her into the other room and sat in a chair. "When did you get it?" She asked curiously.

Marie sighed. "I got it a little over a week ago. I mean it basically symbolizes to the other gang members that I belong to Derek. Its for protection in a way and a pain in the ass to cover up" She wanted to get a french manicure today as it always looked good on her and waited for the woman to come start her nails

Jolie sighed as she listened to her explaination. A tattoo didn't bother her, what really bothered her was if things didn't work out between them. Marie would be left with nothing but a constant remind of a heartbreak. Jolie just wanted to change the subject. She glaced down at her nails and shook her head. "Gosh, I can't believe I've gone this long without getting my nails done."
