Relaxing with Jolie

Marie had told Derek that she was going to the spa with a friend and he had been fine with it. He had even given her some money. He knew that she had to spend time with her friends as well and she was happy that he respected that.

She walked into the spa wearing sweatpants, a t shirt and her bikini underneath. She made her way to the locker room and took off her t shirt and pants and put them in a locker then waited for Jolie to get there

Jolie was truly happy that Marie was happy with Derek, but the whole idea still made her a little uneasy. Of course, she knew Marie would never in a million years abandon her, but it was more of how would Derek react to his girlfriend's best friend being Brazilian? Oh well, she didn't want to dwell over it now, she just wanted to catch up with Marie.

She had wore a pink Juicy Couture sweatsuit over a black bikini. She was glad Marie had chose the spa, she needed to relax. Jolie made her way into the locker and spotted her friend. "I'm late?" She asked, wrinkling her nose slightly before changing out of her clothes and placing them in a locker.

Marie smiled when she was Jolie walk in. "No your not late, I'm just early" She fixed her bikini then sat on one of the benches. "So I was thinking we could get massages then manipedis" Marie took a deep breath and grabbed her cell phone. If Derek called it was in her best intrest to pick up. She then stood up and waited for Jolie. "So are you ready? I havent been to a spa in ages"

"Ok, good.. I just knew I'd be late." Jolie laughed, she was always late for something she knew it aggravated Marie to no end sometimes too. "That sounds so wonderful, I need both." She nodded her head slightly. "Of course I'm ready, as soon as you told me we were coming here I was ready." She chuckled following behind her.

Marie smiled. "No really its fine dont worry about it Derek just dropped me off anyways." She walked into the next room and layed down on one of the massage beds and waited for Jolie. This really had been a good idea, Marie and Jolie desperatly needed some alone girl bonding time and this was just the thing

Jolie just smiled and nodded her head, she was glad she didn't keep Marie waiting for too long. She really did hate showing up late no matter how often she did. She layed down on the massage bed next to the one Marie lay at. "So, I know I talked to you a million times while you were there, but...how was New York?"

Marie smiled. "Oh my god New York was amazing. I mean it was so much bigger than Drakesville but it learned so much" She relaxed as the woman put oil on her and began to massage her sholders. It felt so good because she was starting to get the knots out. "I accually landed a primary audition with the New York Theater Ballet Company and I danced in one of the preformances. I am an automaticly accepted to the School of American Ballet after I graduate from high school." In short New York had changed Marie's life

Jolie listened as her masseuse poured oil onto her skin and began massaging her shoulders as well. "That sounds great, I'd just love to go to New York one day...Perhaps when you leave to go the School of American Ballet I'll go up there and land a modeling job?" She chuckled. Modeling was what she really wanted to do, of course she loved dancing, but her passion was for modeling.

Marie took a deep breath as the woman moved to massage her upper back. This was truly what she needed. "That would be amazing. We could be roomates!' At this point Marie was pretty sure she would move to New York but it all depended on what happened with Derek. "So what have you been up to, any boys I dont know about?" Marie and Jolie always joked about being in relationships but Marie had been that way because she was waiting for someone fortunatly it had been worth the wait

Jolie would definately have to agree, she needed this. It just helped release all kinds of tension in her shoulders and back. "That would be so much fun! Then when I'm a super model and you're a professional dancer, we can tell everyone what best friends we've been for so long." She laughed. "I've really just been working, going to school.. and no not really, I don't know." She paused for a second. "Gosh, Marie I need a boyfriend." She huffed.

Marie smiled. 'sounds like you've been having too much fun without me" She knew Jolie must of felt the same way as her, Life was no fun without your best friend right there experiencing it all together. "It will. Dancing is my life I've worked so hard to get where I am now." She really had paying for lessons was not easy in her familys situation. Marie laughed" Im sure you will have no problem finding a boyfriend with my help" She said with a smirk

A laugh escaped from her lips at her comment. "Loads.." She shook her head slightly. It had been hard adjusting to Marie not being around, honestly Jolie never fully adjusted so she was so happy to have her back home. "I know you have, and all your hard work is starting to pay off. I mean c'mon how many sixteen year old girls basically get a scholarship to the School of American Ballet? Not many I'm sure.." Jolie told her smiling, she was proud of Marie, she knew how much work she put into all of this. "I know you will." She laughed.

Marie smiled softly. "Your such a bad liar I know its been hell here without me" The woman moved to the middle of her back and Marie took a deep breath. She loved massages and it was quite different getting a professional one than one from Derek. "I know its soo much to take in and i'm pretty sure im the first to get a scholarship at this age. I did make some money while I was in New York" Jolie knew that Maries family was very poor and that her and Jared worked very hard to take care of thier mom.

Jolie couldn't help but laugh. "Gosh, I can't even lie to you..You know it's been a living hell for me since you left here. I've been walking around all pityful looking." She chuckled. "Did you really? Did you get a job while you were there?"

Marie moved a little to adjust herself and then looked over at Jolie. "I preformed in a few ballets that werent for school and I also worked at the dance store." The woman moved to her lower back. Marie hoped that Jolie wouldnt see her tattoo. Usually it was covered up but that was kind of hard to do in this situation. It said Derek in black cursive writing and had black wings on each side
