The roar of his dual wheeled, diesel Dodge truck was heard in the gravel road leading up to the Twin lakes. It was so secluded out there, and it was one of Pat and Jackson's old fishing wholes, so he decided to revisit it with his fishing poles, and a couple of cases of beer. He got his poles, his tackle box, and a lawn chair out of the back and sat it up on the shore of the left lake.
Pat was wearing his brown cowboy boots, and his tight wrangler rodeo bootcut bluejeans, and his black belt with his large silver, gold outlined beltbuckle with a large golden P in the middle of it and a bullrider in the behind of it engraved. He also wore a sleveless white dixie outfitters t-shirt with a Whitetail deer on the back of it, showing off his muscles, and a black and green John deere hat on his head. He had a can of dip in his pocket, a pack of camel full flavored and a lighter in his side pocket, and his keys, and his cellphone and a pocket knife were also in his junked up pockets.
He opened a beer, holding it between his legs as he put an artificial bait on the end of his pole, and cast it out, reminissing on memories.. He didnt know that Marinna would soon be showing up.

Marinna turned down the old road that led to Twin Lakes, her and Jackson had been there a few times, fishing while drunk. Most of the time ending up in the water, but sometimes they actually caught fish. Her sunburst colored cobalt reached its destination. Upon arrival, he noticed a large black truck parked near the same place. After cutting the ignition, she got out and shut the door.
Today she was wearing a yellow maternity dress and a pair of tan flipflops. Her hair was down and curly and her stomach was still it's large self. She took in a couple of deep breaths as she waddled down towards the water. As she walked around the truck, she found Patrick sitting with a beer in his lap.
"Well, well, what do we have here?" she asked letting out a slight laugh, "If I didn't know any better, I'd say you were Jackson Frost reincarnated. What are you doing out here, other than the obvious?"

Patrick lifted his head after hearing a car pull up, his first impression was Oh shit, it's a game warden.. or the land owner.. but he was on private property, so that would be a good reason for him to be concerned, right? He looked up a the car, knowing it was not the owner, or a game warden, because he had ran from both many times on fourwheelers. He smiled at her..
She came over to him, and as she did, he took another swallow of his beer, she looked beautiful even though she was pregnant, he liked it. He smiled up at her as she asked what he was doing out there, he wasnt even drunk yet, he had only had like a half of a beer. He raised his head, looking at her, smiling "Well hey hey, beautiful.. Ah, i'm just hangin out, Thinkin bout shit, and fishin, y' know?" He said, as he felt a jerk on his fishing pole, quickly he jerked his pole back and began to reel in a medium sized bluegill. He smirked as he grabbed the bluegull behind the fins after reeling it in, he took it off the hook and chucked it into a bucket full of water beside him. He then rebaited the artificial bate and recast the line.. Looking up at Rinna every so often, and taking a sip of beer.

Marinna smiled at his reply. She didn't know how anyone could call her beautiful when she was the size of a whale. She walked over and took a seat on the grass next to him, "I know i'll never get up if I sit her now, but oh well," she joked as she rubbed her belly. Looking down, she smiled. She couldn't believe it, twins.
"So, how have you been lately? I haven't talked to you or Melody much lately. Hell, I haven't talked to anyone much lately," she said as she took a hand off of her belly to brush her hair back behind her ear. This place had so many memories. Memories between her and Jackson and a few vague ones between Patrick and the two of them as well. It was the perfect place to come and think.

Pat gazed at her as he took another sip of his beer, he then finished it off, foam and all, and chucked the bottle aside, as he stood up, picking her up in his musclear arms and sitting her down in the chair.. "You sit there, you need it." He said with a smirk as he handed her the fishing pole.. "Catch me a fish or two, I'm gonna go piss.." He said with a smile as he put a hand on her stomach slowly and then made his way to his truck to do his buisness.

"Why thank you, Mr. Gunn," she said as he put her into the chair, "I never was good at catching the fish though. It more or less always ended up Jackson and I drunk acting like fools." She smiled thinking about those times. She knew it was time to move on, but she just couldn't forget about him. It wasn't that easy.
"Hurry up and get back over here before some fish pulls your pole into the water," she joked as she turned around towards the direction he walked. She didn't see him though, he was behind his truck. Not that she was looking for him. "Oh, I went to the doctor yesterday morning to find out what the baby was," she said enthusiastically as she played with the reel of the fishing pole.

Patrick smiled as her as he put his package away and zipped his pants up, he then made his way to the ground beside her as he took a seat beside her. He grabbed his pole and reeled it in a bit, to show as if the bait was swimming around so a fish would go for it.. He took out another beer from the cooler and opened it, throwing the top into the bucket with the fish as he closed his eyes as he then looked back up to her.. "Oh really now? What did they say?" He said with a smirk as he looked over her body. Pregnant or not pregnant. she was looking good.

"Yeah, really," she said with a giggle looking down at her stomach and giving it a rub. She looked back up to him smiling, "Well, I went in to go see what the sex of the baby was and I came out with even bigger news. I'm going to be having twins! Jackson would be so happy. There's a boy and a girl and I've already been thinking about names." Talking about the children she had inside of her made her so excited. She never thought so much happiness could be the result of an accident.

Patrick smirked at her as she began to talk about her babies. He then gasped as she told him she was having twins. Jackson would have been excited. He smiled as he looked at her, nodding his head. "That's so cool." He smirked as he moved a hand over to rub her stomach.. He then got a bite, moving his hand from her tummy to jerk the pole and reel in the large fish.. It began to put up a fight. "Damn you, fish!" He shouted.

Marinna put a hand on the other side of her stomach opposite of his, feeling a kick. She smiled, it wasn't the first time, but it let her know that the babies were really there. "Yeah, I'm really excited about it.." she trailed off as he jumped up to try and catch the fish, "Well, looks like you have a fighter." She laughed a bit at her own joke and watched as he continued to wrestle with the pole trying to reel it in.

He smirked at her, she seemed happy with the twins, and that was somthing that Rinna deserved, happiness. After all the shit she and those babies had been through, damn. It had been about 5 months since Jackson's death, and crap was beginning to get back to normal, but the memory still remained, in the back of everyones head. Pat reeled the large Bass in and took it off the hook, chucking it into the bucket with the other fish as he leaned his pole up against the tree, and sat back on the ground beside her, looking back as the sun began to shine off of the lakes.. "It's beautiful, isnt it?"
