Normally she might care a little if some kid she barely knew put his hand on her shoulder but the whole idea of it and the situation that she in right now just made it easier to deal with. "Thanks, I hope they do.. and I'm sorry about your brother." She sat up a little more straightening her back and turning so she was facing him.

"Same with yours," he said. "Say, by any chance have you seen Marinna here yet," he asked. He wanted to see how she was doing, because she was the first one to see him dead. He also knows what it's like, for he was the one who found his brother dead from the overdose in his own house's bathroom.

"Yea she's out front waiting for more people to arrive, I don't think she saw you walk in though." She turned and nodded her head towards the exit of the room as she said it so she didn't have to point, she didn't enough energy to do that right now, she barely had the energy to talk and yet she was trying her best. Melody sighed as she turned and looked at her brother's coffin, it was gross for her to have seen her brother's body the way it had been when she'd walked into his room finding Marinna standing over his bloody body. The image was still in her head and nothing would remove it...ever.

Both of the Andersons walked in silently. They didn't look at anyone, or act like they wanted to talk. Hunter was just staring at the ground, not bothering to try and cheer his sister up. He felt bad... for being with Sadie, the last thing Jackson said to Hunter was that he was a jackass and many other things. He didn't want to look at the body, so he just waited on Maddie to do whatever she needed to do.
Maddie just stood there, but didn't dare to even look up at anyone. She felt ashamed for some reason, but she knew life would probably be hell without him. She looked at her brother, burrying her face in his chest as she tears started to roll down once more. She hated this... she tried to stop him the first time, then he just did it again... she didn't even get to say bye. She didn't know why but she had been growing attatched to him, even though sometimes he did the stupidest things. She glanced around, kind of looking for Marinna.

Sadie walked into the funeral home and quickly looked around for Melody. She saw Jackson's parents and hugged the both of them. Sadie stayed close with Jackson's mother even after they broke up because of Melody. She wore a slightly low cut black dress and heels. She saw Hunter and Maddie and avoided both of them. If he truly loved hr, he would give her a hug or something. But right now she was here for Melody. Sadie saw her looking at his coofin. Sadie walked up to her and gave her a big hug. "I would try to comfort you, but I know its the last thing you need"

It took forever for Patrick to get sober enough and over the loss of his dear friend to come to the funeral home, he kept putting it off and putting it off, not wanting to see his dead body or his dead friend. When Pat found out that his friend had died, he went straight to the Frost's house, and seen the blood on the wall and things scattered all over his room himself. Pat then came back home after making sure his second family was okay.. He drowned himself in beer, and loratabs..
But he finally got the nerve to come and see his late friend, like he promised him he would while they were kids and talked about dieing when they got older. Too bad for Jackson, his death came sooner than planned. The roar of Pat's black dodge extended cab 3500 pulled up in the parking lot of the funeral home.. He turned off the ingition and stepped out, wearing a white long sleeve dress shirt, a black tie, and a black pair of slacks, with a black pair of cowboy boots. He then reached inside his truck pulling his suit jacket on, and his black cowboy hat.. He fought back tears as he made his way into the funeral home, looking at no one as he walked right past everyone up to the casket, he pulled somthing from his jacket, a small folded rebel flag as he laid it ontop of the casket.. He then took a beltbuckle which had a large golden J on it and put it ontop of the flag ontop of Jackson's black casket. He then raised his head, glancing at the picture of him.. All this, plus the alcohol and pills and the funky funeral music drove him mad.. He began to break down, slamming his fist gently down on the casket.. "Why...Why....Why Jackson! Why'd you have to do that." He was sure no one there knew him besides Melody and the Frost family.. and they knew him well, but he didnt care. He wasnt trying to impress anyone, he was saying goodbye to his unofficial brother from another mother.

Marinna glanced up as Melody left the room. She hadn't bothered to ask why she was leaving, she was too depressed to care. She slowly laid her arms on the table and buried her head in them. This was stupid, why didn't he just talk to someone? Although Melody had told her that it wasn't her fault, Marinna still blamed herself somewhat. She was positive it wasn't all coincidence that Jackson killed himself after finding out about the baby. Right, she just wanted to get rid of the stupid thing, all it was causing was trouble and heartbreak for everyone.
After debating whether to get up and leave the funeral home's kitchen, she finally decided to get up a leave the room. Her heels didn't click loudly as they usually would, instead they were silent as they hit the carpet outside of the kitchen. She headed into the room where the casket was located, a single red rose in hand. It was time to say goodbye, but she didn't want to let go. Approaching the casket, she laid the rose on top, next to the belt buckle that was just laid down by a man who seemed to be taking it as hard, if not harder than she was. Tears began to roll down her eyes once more, you can only try to be strong for so long.

Melody saw Sadie walk up and hugged her back. "Yea, thanks. How are you?" She wanted to know how Sadie was feeling, she knew that Jackson and her hadn't been close at that last party and from what Sadie had told her it hadn't sounded too good. She was sure that Sadie was the kind of person who would put that behind her though, especially now that Jackson was dead. What kind of sick person would hold a grudge on someone even after they were dead? She hoped that no one would do that to Jackson but from what she had heard about the party she knew that no promises would be made. She saw Patrick walk in but didn't know what to say to him so she stayed standing at Sadie's side instead.

Pat sat there upset for about 2 and a half minutes, then he stood up, whiping tears from his eyes as he removed his cowboy hat, heading over to Melody and the Frost family.. He looked down into her eyes and slowly wrapped his arms around her, patting her on the back and rubbing her back. He knew that he would have to pick up the slack that Jackson left off, he would have to be her unofficial big brother.. He then pulled away from her, looking down at her.. "I've gotta see Jack.. I've gotta see him.." He said, glancing back at the casket.. Jackson's casket had been shut because a few people there thought it would be nasty, but one of the guys he overheard outside just said he blew the back of his head off, and they could put his cowboy hat on to covor it up.. He then looked around.. "What the fuck am I gonna do Mel?" He then looked at her, rubbing her shoulders as he thgen walked away from her, heading towards Rinna, taking his hand in hers, knowing she was the one carrying Jackson's child.. "Hey there, I havent ever met ya, but I'm Patrick Gunn, Jackson's best friend, and a friend of the Frost's. It's a pleasure to meet ya.." He said.. He rubbed her knuckles gently as he took her hand, everyone there could tell that Pat was fucked up on tabs and beer, but what was new? He did it moreso now because his buddy was dead!

Melody saw Patrick get up and start walking over to her. When he hugged her she hugged him back. "Hey, how are you?" She hadn't seen him in forever it felt like and she really honestly wanted to know how he was, he came back here for a reason and she knew it. It wasn't just so he could see Jackson. She didn't have a lot of energy to say anything when he asked her what he was going to do, how was she supposed to know what he was going to do when she herself didn't even know what to do.

Sadie held Melody's hand in hers and gave it a squeeze. "I'm fine I accually brought something I wanna lay with him if it's ok." Sadie looked around the room and drew in a harsh breath. She watched as a guy that looked vaugly familiar approached Mel. "I'm just praying to god that Hunter doest break up with me over this. I told him that I wanted to work things out with Jackson before he...well before all of this"

"Thats completely okay, I understand." Melody looked at Sadie as she took in a deep breath. "Hunter should understand that you need to do this and if he doesn't understand that then I don't think he fully understands your feelings Sadie" She didn't want to come off sounding like a complete bitch but she wanted Sadie to have the best and it was the right thing for Sadie to be able to do things when she wanted to.

Sadie smiled softly. "Thanks Mel I think i'm going to go find him if you think you will be fine alone for a little while." Sadie kissed her on the cheek and slipped a bracelet that Jackson had made for her a while back into her hand. "it's yours Mel. You need and deserve it. Ive had it locked in a box forever." She looked around the room for Hunter

Maddie just sighed, looking at Hunter. "Well, I guess I'm going to say goodbye.." she said and took a deep breath. She looked over to the casket and closed her eyes then began to walk over. She pulled a note out of her pocket, and placed it beside the other things people had layed there. It was a note to him, and she knew people would think she's crazy for only bringing some stupid note that would probably only be thrown away... but she didn't have anything else, and she knew that somehow he was looking up(haha) on them anyways. She closed her eyes again, wiping the tears that now came quicker. She hadn't been with Jackson that long, but she felt close to him either way.
Hunter looked around, spotting Sadie. He walked quietly over to her, playing an arm around her shoulders. "How are you doing, babe?" he asked, wiping one of his own tears. He thought it was pretty stupid for a guy to cry, but he would miss Jackson even if he did think he was an idiot for being with his enemy.

Marinna looked over to the boy who had placed the belt buckle on the casket. She was a little uneasy when he took her hands into his. This was a boy she had never met in her life and he decides he's just going to grab her hands like it's nothing. She could smell the alcohol on his breath as he talked. Go figure Jackson's best friend would be exactly like him. She slipped her hands back out of his.
"Nice to meet you Patrick," she managed to get out roughly, "I'm Marinna Neilson or the girl that Jackson got knocked up, whichever you prefer." She meant it though, she wasn't trying to get a laugh out of him. Looking back at the casket one more, a few more tears rolled down her cheeks. It almost didn't seem realistic, it felt as if it was all some cruel joke being played to get a rise out of everyone. Well, that's what she hoped it was. Marinna looked over to find Maddie with tears flowing from her eyes. It was then, that Marinna did something you never would have expected. She walked over to Maddie, tears rolling down her face as well, and gave her a hug. She knew every feeling going through Maddie's body right now, she was feeling the same way.
