"Oh haha, yea well I'm just really experienced on the computer. I've used it a lot so yea... I kind of just know." She smiled at him. It surprised her that she had misunderstood his question, usually she knew what people meant all of the time and that question just kind of caught her in a time where all she could think about was that stupid boy her friend and her had gotten into a fight over. She sighed a little by accident not meaning to but just letting it out subconsciously. When she realized that she had done it she quickly made sure he knew it wasn't because of him. "That sigh wasn't because of you just so you" She didn't want him thinking that it was annoying for her to have to help him because it wasn't. She didn't mind one bit actually, there wasn't anything interesting or important for her to really do. She had already finished her homework and had been checking her email. Sometimes Jackson would send her emails during the day to let her know something if it was really important so she tried to check at least once a day in case something ever came up.

"I don't care." He honestly had no care about that sigh and didn't even think of it until she said something. Now that she said something he started thinking about it a little but desided to drop that thought quickly to more imporrtant matters as the computer finally loaded up with windows. "Your pretty good on computers right? Do you have any time at all? Do you think you could teach me a few things?" The things he wanted to know were pretty basic, mostly a few internet things. A guy like him who never went on the computer wouldn't ever need to learn anything that complex. "Things like Myspace, girls keep asking me for that and I always say no because I have no idea what it is. Is it having your own website or something?" That would be fun, he could put things up like sports awards he got or something.

She sat down in the chair next to him. If she was going to help him she didn't want to be standing the entire time. "Yea I have time. Myspace is kind of like having your own website, but it's not like YOUR website. What you do is you sign up for it just like you would on an email account and then you get your own page where you can put whatever you want onto it. Then you have a friends list where you can put you friends pages too. Thats probably why all the girls want you to get one." She didn't have one herself but she knew that a lot of people did and she even thought that Jackson had one even though she wasn't one hundred percent sure about that. "I can help you make one if you'd like after I help you with any of the other stuff you needed." For some reason she was feeling very generous today, not that she wasn't a bit generous everyday but today she was feeling especially generous.

"So wait... girls just want my myspace so they could contact all my other friends?" He didn't know to much of a point in getting one if thats all they wanted. "They can just come ask me if they want." Not to mention there were some girls out there that he didn't want to give contacts away to so he could protect the friend. Chanses are if they wanted a contact they could go up to the friend and ask and they'd give it to them and if they didn't then they wouldn't get it. "Is that all the point in it?" He failed to see how much of a social thing it really was, just like the phone that he always used. Sure he never picked up his phone and just called people back if they phoned him but that was his own form of communication. Even if he got one he probibly wouldn't use it that often but everybody seemed to want him to get one so he would do it now anyway.

She looked at him as he talked. "Well they could want to talk to you and there are like ways of blocking people if you don't want to talk to someone. People have to request to be your friend before there actually put onto your list and if you decline there request then they aren't on your friends list. Personally I think it's kind of stupid because some people just use it so they can be mean to people and make of them and stuff like that." She moved her body in the chair a little bit. Most girls would never actually walk up to him and ask to talk to one of his friends but guys didn't seem to understand why girls were so shy when it came to something like that and she doubted that they ever would understand.

"Oh, I don't wanna be mean to people though." This whole Myspace thing sounded like pretty heavy duty material with people rejected some people and accepting others for what they found acceptable. It made him scared of being rejected quite a lot oddly enough, the thing is he didn't understand the whole process yet and understand that most of the time people don't reject him and if they did it was no big deal either. "This MySpace sounds like some serious shit. I thought it was just some sorta social network group thing. Now it's like a whole acceptance into club thing." He wasn't fully sure he wanted one anymore. Although he liked the idea of his own webpage, as much as he didn't need one.

"Yea well you could just not reject people then, but it's your descision obviously if you want to make one or not" She didn't know what to tell him, yea life would and could be mean but people had to learn how to deal with it sometimes. Life wasn't all easy and it never would be. She placed her hands on the desk and rested her chin on them while still looking up at him.

He noticed that he just shot down myspace in front of somebody that probibly loved that site so he quickly changed his mine. "Oh no no, please helpe me get one, I still want one. The whole thing just seems kinda weird, it's just new thats all. I'll get use to it when I get it." He probibly wouldn't, getting something like myspace for a technilogical idiot like somebody like him was probibly a bad idea. He would have to learn that on his own though. "Can you still help me get it?"

"Yea I can try to help you, I only really know the basic stuff though. I've seen friends do some stuff to theirs when I have been around but I don't actually have one so...yea. Haha." She thought about maybe making one for herself at the same time since she didn't have one. There wasn't any reason for her to have one though, she didn't have many friends yet and the ones that she did have didn't have stuff like that. All they had was an email address and that was it. She looked back to him. "Maybe I will make one after I've helped you make one" She liked the idea of having one and being able to make it look any way you wanted.

"I only need the basic stuff, give me all the stuff I need that the girls all want me to have." That was afterall the main reason he was getting this, girls kept asking him for his myspace and he always said he had none and it brought down the mood of the conversation. "I probibly wount even use it that often." Going to internet explorer he hoped she knew what to do from there, pushing himself and his chair out of the way so she could go do what she needed to do to get him a myspace. He didn't even know myspace.com was to go get one.
He liked the idea of her getting one to, it means she wasn't one of those internet freaks that was always on myspace. "We can become friends on it haha."

"Yea sure" She got up and leaned over the computer and waited until the internet had fully loaded before typing myspace.com into the URL bar. Once it had loaded she clicked on sign up. "Now all you need to do is pick your username and password...stuff like that. Do you have an email address?" She could just let him use her email address but if he didn't have one then it might be helpful for him to get one of those too. Those were a lot easier to make then myspace accounts and she could make a simple email account for him within five minutes if she really had too.

"Yeah it's ummm football_basketballking90@hotmail.com. Should I use that as my username or is it to long?" He remembered hearing somebody complain once when he gave his email adress that it was to long. He barley used the email anyway so he didn't really care, he was just wondering if it mattered here. "And password pick up... basketball1." He probibly should say outloud his password that he used for everything in front of everybody like that but there he was.

Melody didn't really care if he told her what he wanted for his password, it wasn't like she going to purposely go into his account or something. "Well I think that like your username is the same as your email." She typed in what he wanted for his password and put his email into the right slot. She pressed the sign up button before he had even responded to her and opened a new window. "You will have to go to your email and activate your myspace account before you can use it. If you know what that means." She grinned a little, in a friendly way though.

He gave her a blank stare when she said what he had to do with activating it but then finally said something. "That sounds serious, like I'm releasing some sort of cyborg or something. But anyway my password is the same as what it is there." Again he just said his password outloud. It wasn't her that was the big deal, it was the fact everyone else was listening around him. Hopefully nobody cared, he didn't half care either though. "Think you could go do that for me right now?"

"Yea sure" She typed the msn homepage into the URL bar and pressed enter waiting a minute for it to fully load and then clicking mail. When she got to the mail page she typed in his email and password opening the activation email when it had once again loaded. She clicked on the link and then closed the last myspace window she had had opened. Once the account was activated she looked to him. "Now you can change your personal information and if you want a special background, wallpaper is what they call it, for your page I can help you get one of those too." Looking back to the screen she pressed the edit profile button so that it brought up his editing page.
