Ron hated computers so much, expecially when stressed. He never understood the equipment and had general trouble trying to even send emails out to people without some sort of difficulty. Through the school years he always failed the units his classes covered on computers and the most he ever did on them was word to write up different reports and so on. Spellcheck was one thing on the computer he picked up very quickly since it saved his life really. Past that though he was alway dazed and confused about what to do with them and since he was under so much personal stress he wasn't getting anywhere any time soon.
Although he remained silent for quite a while, something he was getting more common at doing oddly enough, Ron finally pipped up finally at one moment, pounding the keyboard hard and yelling at the computer. "STUPID COMPUTER, WORK!" He was having trouble at this time trying to use the internet really. Internet explorer locked up on him, which wasn't rare for the program to do, and now he had absolutly no idea what to do there.

Melody had been sitting nearby watching the whole thing happen and wondered why the boy she was watching was having so much trouble. She thought to herself that maybe it just wasn't the type of thing he knew how to do. She on the other hand was pretty good with computers, most people assumed that because she grew up on a farm and did everything for her farm outside without any electronics that she would have no idea but they were pretty wrong. She wasn't a professional but she knew quite a bit, enough to help him at least. She liked helping people and she couldn't stand to watch him do that any longer. She pushed her chair out from the desk and got up walking to where he was sitting. "Do you need some help?" She laughed as she looked to him waiting for his answer.

As he saw somebody offer him out and laugh, at what he thought at him, he sighed, he just completely gave up on this computer thing. "Please.. if you can figure out how to work this peice of trash be my guest." He really needed to learn the ctl alt delete keys and how that whole thing worked to get further. The problem was if anybody ever tried to explain a thing like that to him he either got to impatient to do such a thing or just forgot in a matter of minutes anyway. He was no computer nerd and had a lot of trouble with it overall, he always would to. Even if he learned a few computer function eventually they would become out of date and he wouldn't know any of it again. The thing gave him quite a stress though and he seemed to be taking it very personally against the computer as well. It was easy for electronics like that to get on anybodys nerves though, expecially when windows liked to freeze up all the time.

Melody just smiled at him hoping he hadn't taken the whole laughing thing too personally. She just wanted to help him and if he really didn't understand how the whole computer thing didn't work then she wouldn't be surprised because not a lot of kids really did know how to work a computer correctly. She only knew how to use one so well because she would sit on it for hours after all of her chores around the farm were done when she was younger and mess around with it. She eventually got the hang of the basic things while messing around on the computer and then she began to look further into it in order to find any other cool things possible. "Okay, so what do you need help with?" She asked in a friendly tone.

Help with? All his friends were about to kill each other, not before killing him, that wasn't what the question was directed at though so he didn't give that answer, just thought it. "I donno, I was trying to work this email when all the sudden everything stopped working." The fact she was still smiling helped him calm down a lot. "And now I can't do anything at all but I didn't even do anything." He had yet to learn the full magic of Microsoft and how it was made just to give everyone headaches. It was working on him for sure. "What did I do wrong?"

She leaned over his shoulder to see what he was looking at on the screen. "You might have just clicked a wrong button or something. It tends to freeze up if you press something more than once or if you don't let it load properly. Don't worry about it though, it's easy to fix and a lot of people mess up on things like this so it's not just you." She was still leaning over his shoulder and she could tell he had relaxed a little bit since she had first walked over to him.

Seeing her fix the problem almost right away he relaxed even more, but knew the problem was just going to get worse onceshe went away so he tried to look at what she was doing. Looking at what she did with the mouse and keyboard was quick though and he couldn't catch on to a single part of it. Still he went with the flow, shifting in his seat from now being able to sit still for to long. Either that or he sat still for very long periods of time, this was not one of those times. "I hate computers.. they're more hassel then they are helpful." At least for guys like him they were where he just couldn't figure them out.

It was surprising to Melody that she was the one who seemed smart for once. She was usually the one who had no idea about very many modern things because of her not being used to that many electronics. For years when she was a kid she didn't have a TV and when kids at school were talking about there favorite TV shows she would always try to listen in and hear what they were talking about that way she didn't even have to watch the show to know what it was about. She took the boys response as a thank you and smiled. "Your welcome" She laughed a little.

"Oh ahh.. thanks." He couldn't remember if he already thanked her or not but she said your welcome in a strange tone like he hadn't said it yet so he said it there. "I'm sorry if I seem biting." He wasn't that much, most of it was in his head. "Computer aren't helping me day at all and the last thing I wanna deal with is them right now but the damn teachers making us do some online assignment and she says I need to do it if I wanted to pass." She probibly didn't give a shit but he was telling her that anyway.

Melody just smiled a little more as she listened to him talking, she didn't mind people telling her there problems. It made her feel like she was helping more, and she absolutely loved to help people. She felt like it was just one of her callings. "Okay well if you need anymore help you can just ask me, I'm sitting right over there." She pointed to the seat she had come from originally. She didn't want to leave until she was sure he had everything he needed so she stood there for a minute more until he gave his response.

"Ok thanks." She seemed like a nice girl, Ron liked that. More importantly though he had to go back to his assignment and so looking at his paper and reading what he had to do, which gave him step by step easy intructions, idiot proof to follow, he was back into the mode of trying to figure out how to work stupid computers. It was only a matter of minutes before he was back on one certain website and lovely IE screwed up again. It was probibly his computer that caught some virus or trojan, but Ron never understood any of that and was once again furious at the computer for locking up. That was when he went to catch the attention of the girl again. "Fuckin' computer locked again!"

She really couldn't help but laugh, it wasn't directly at him but more at the way he acted when the computer wouldn't work. "Maybe you should just try another one and if it still doesn't work then I will try and help you again." She looked at him waiting to see what his response would be. She knew that he probably wouldn't be happy since he had had to try so many times already but it was his desicion what he did so if he didn't want to finish the assignment it wasn't like he had too. Wondering why he was so determined to get it done she stood to her fullest height and looked down at him.

If he had a choice to get the assignment done or not he would take his typical choice of not doing it, but in this case he had no choice and that was why he was there. When she suggested he switch computers he pounded the keyboard like he was striking back at it all angry and got up from his seat. "I hate computers, they should try designing a computer that actually works once in a while." He seemed to have the worst luck with them. In full truth he just didn't know how to work them so if anything ever went wrong everything flipped on over and went wrong with him.
Going to another computer he turned it on. At least he knew how to do that. "How do you guys know how to work these things so well? I can barley figure out the internet explorer thing."

She watched as he got up and walked to another computer pressing the power button as he sat down in the new chair. At least he knows how to do that she thought. "No idea I'm not a guy" She laughed at her own remark. It was true though, she couldn't even figure out a guys brain when it came to something like dating so how would she have any idea how to figure it out with something like the computer? Maybe guys should spend more time on things that really matter such as the computer and knowing how to work it and not spend there time on so many sports. Even though sports were important too taking a little time away and using the computer wasn't going to like kill there popular status or something.

He was confused and a little thrown back by her remark. When he said guys he meant anybody in general. He was use to saying the word guys around everybody and so when she said she wasn't a guy he actually had to think about that for a few seconds and what she meant. When it snapped into him he went to correct himself, not really catching on that she may have been sarcastic there. "No no, I mean guys like. How do you people? Like." He then looked around at all "Sit here all day on the computer and not want to throw it out the window in an hours time?" He sure wanted to do exacly that right now.
