Sadie pulled up to the stable in her red Mustang and pulled up right next to it. She put her ciagrette out before getting out of the car and grabbed her helmet from the passengers seat. She got out and walked into the barn to Cas and Dawn's stalls. They were right next to eachother and she fed them both a carrot. She was wearing her breeches and tall boots as well as a polo from her parents stable. She quickly brushed Cas down and tacked him up. Cas was her first string horse and she would take him to the McClay if she made it, but Dawn meant a lot to her as well. She led Cas out of his stall and into the Jumping arena outside. She mounted the 16.3 hand Warmblood and began to walk around to warm him up.

The squeel from the angry stallion probably echoed through the whole place as the palomino Quarter horse spun in circles in the round pen. He was here for advertising, and to get him out in more places. He was a pure barrel horse, and you could tell by the way he stopped and spun around in the pen. Madeline Anderson stood there, watching him with a smile on her lips. She stepped in, taking the bridle from the post. "Easy, baby" she cooed and the stud came to a stop, snorting and looking over at her with pricked ears.
She giggled, walking twords him and slipping the bridle on. She tightened the saddle, leading him out. He pranced beside her, his neck arched and his nostrils flared out in excitement. He knew his job, and he loved it. She took him to an arena with 1D barrels set up, and jumped on. He tried to take off, but she held him back. He pranced in place, turning sideways and side-stepping twords the barrels. She giggled, shaking her head. He was such a nerd sometimes, usually he was very well behaved, but this was a new place and he was ready to run.
She kissed to him, turning the reins loose. He jumped into a gallop, heading full speed twords the first barrel. He dove around it, going into the pocket. Madeline set him up, letting him do his thing. He jumped out of the turn, sprinting to the next barrel. He leaned into the turn alittle, and Madeline picked him up. She kicked hard as he ran to the last barrel, diving around it. He snorted in excitement for the run home, it was his favorate part. She let the reins down alittle, kissing and squeezing and he booked it all the way out the arena. She pulled back, sitting down in the saddle. He slid to a stop, and turned back around. They pranced back into the arena, and MAdeline pat his neck.
"Good boy," she cooed to the stud.
[woah it was shitty, sorry]

Sadie rasied an eyebrow to what was going on in the next arena and then let Cas go into an extended canter to warm him up. After doing several transitions, she cantered hin to the first jump a four foot oxer and let him go. Cas was a natural jumper and she had tranined him herself. He tucked his fore legs in gracefully, lifted his head up and always had his ears foward. Sadie was looking for perfection in this first round, not time. As Cas approached the next jump, she gave him an extra squeeze as it was a wall. He jumped it perfectly. As he landed, he stumbled slightly, but she sqeezed him on reassuring him that he was doing fine. As he went over the last jump, she patted him on the neck and let him go down to a trot. Sadie took her feet out of the stirrups and let Cas stretch out

Madeline glanced over to the other arena as she let Taz lope around the arena. He snorted, pricking his ears in the direction of the jumping arena. She picked up, making him put his head down as he began to slow a little. She smilled, pushing her right leg into him and making him speed up. He snorted, his gait now smooth and gentle. He would've been a pleasure horse if not a barrel horse, an odd mix since he had the barrel bloodlines. He was just naturally a slow horse once you got all the energy out of him. She smilled, stopping him and pivoting, then loping off the other way.

Sadie moved off the saddle and onto Cas's haunches. She reached down and removed the girth on the saddle then slid the saddle off and put it on the fence. She slid back into his seat then went right into a canter. She did a 20 meter circle then went over a 2' 6'' jump. Sadie loved to jump bareback but her trainer wouldnt be too happy if he saw her. He felt thats he needed to work on moving as one, saddle included, but this felt more natural to her. Cas snorted and looked over at the barrel arena. Sadie pushed him on and brought him over another jump

Madeline let Taz jog as she watched the girl jump bareback. She wanted to try too, she jogged him out of the barrel arena and then into the jumping ring. She smilled "could I try?" she asked, knowing the girl probably thought she was an idiot for even wanting to attempt. She slid back to his butt, taking the saddle off and slinging it to the ground. She didn't mind if it got dirty, it was her brother's anyways. Haha. She smilled, letting him lope around awhile.

Sadie brought Cas to the center tof the arena. "Has he ever jumped before? If you want you can try my saddle on him and I can give you a lesson?" Sadie didnt mind teaching someone to jump. It was one fo her biggest passions in life and if she could help someone then she would do it. Cas neighed at the other horse in the ring and pawed the ground. She gave him a gentle squeeze and he stopped imediatly. "Im Mercedes by the way but you can call me Sadie"

She shrugged "naw, I don't need lessons, we've done it before" she said with a gentle smile. "I'm Madeline, you can call me Maddie" she said, then let Taz speed up a little more. They went twords a smaller 18 inch jump, and he went over it easily. She directed him twords the 2 ft. jump, smiling as she squeezed and hung on. He leaped over, tossing his head at the end. She laughed and pat his neck "ok, so we're not that great, he's just a barrel horse so we don't really jump a lot... too much stress on his legs" she explained, shrugging as she let him walk around.

Sadie smiled softly. Taz had potential to be a jumper with some work. She brought Cas back onto the rail and brought him into a canter and then decided to take the oxer. She went over smoothly holding on pretty tight. All of the riding and running had made her legs really strong and jumping that high bareback was like a drug to her. She then dismounted and grabbed her saddle. "Im gonna go wash Cas off he's pretty warm, you can was your horse off in the wash stall next to the one im using if you want"

She nodded slightly, smilling as she jumped off and threw the saddle back over his back. Once they got to the wash rack, she tied him up and put his saddle back into her trailer. She walked back, washing his sweaty sides off. He snorted, lipping a the air, it felt really good to him to have all that crap washed off of him. Maddie giggled, stroking his next. He layed his head against her chest, rubbing it up and down to scratch his nose. She just smirked and looked over to Sadie "you two are a great pair," she said.

Sadie tied Cas to the ring and began to spra his body down with the cool water. He nickered and nodded his head up and down. She smiled and began to scrub his socks with cowboy magic and washed his mane and tail with shampoo. When she bent down he pulled on her breeches and she laughed. He was such a charater. Sadie looked at Maddie. "Thanks. He's my life I would do anything for him. Ive had him since he was a baby and I wouldnt want to compete at McClay with anyone else. Were a team"

She smilled, raising a brow "the McClay?oooh, fancy" she said and smirked. She nodded "I've won Top 10 in Congress on this thing, we've competed at the world show and the world palomino show" she said as she stroked his neck. He nickered, bobbing his head "yeah, thats right baby you got skill" she said to him as she giggled. "I've had him forever, he's the best horse besides one of the broodmares I've got right now" she said, nodding.

Sadie nodded. "thats awesome. you should join the Equestrian team, im lookign for a western capitan." Sadie and Maddie were so much alike. They wanted to be the best and were willing to do whatever it took to get there. She slipped the lead rope on Cas and wallked a couple standing back a few feet, knowing he was going to shake. He did and she smiled. 'Good boy Cas, you did very well today.

She shrugged "yeah, I'd totally love that" she said and smirked. She could ride pretty much anything you put her on, a pleasure horse, a hunt seat horse, a pole bender, a barrel racer, a cutter... she'd done it all. She wasn't too awesome at anything but barrels and pleasure but she could learn and brush up on her skills. She smilled and looked at Taz as he looked at Cas, pinning his ears. She rolled her eyes and backed him out of the wash rack.

Sadie led Cas onto the grass so she could hand graze him while he dried. He happily started to eat the grass. Sadie smiled softly at Maddie. Sadie put the lead rope over his neck. "I will be right back, he knoew not to cause trouble." Sadie came back with an injection of adequon. It was the last one Cas needed for a while. Even though he was only seven, she still had to make sure his joints were in the best shape for a jumper. She put it into his muscle and then let him graze some more
