New town, new people, new start. Wouldn't you get tried of this too? Most times, people would try to make friends when they came to a new school. Not this one. Odette was quiet, so she kept to herself, looking amung the shelves of books and magazines. She didn't know what she was looking for, where some romance novel or new sheet music to learn for her piano. Roaming and wandering, she pushed a red strand of hair out of her eyes and inhaled, humming to herself a song from a play she saw.

Madeline sighed as she strolled throught he isles of books, not looking for any particular one. She just yawned, glancing up to the ground as she kept walking. Her spur rowels clanked as they shifted on her brown ostrich skin boots when she walked, and everyone could hear them. She straightened out her white t-shirt that said 'DIXIE' on the front, then had a cowgirl in a white shirt that had the rebel flag on it turned twords her horse. She yawned, looking up, but before she could stop she ran into a girl. She blinked, stumbling backwords and biting her lip. She let go.
"Ugh, I'm so sorry," she said to the girl as she watched her carefully, looking her over. She wasn't checking her out, hell no, she was just making sure she didn't have any guns... she'd had a bad experience on the streets on her way here. She sighed, shaking her head "I didn't see you" she said softly, pushing her blonde hair from her eyes.

Odette reached out and caught a book before it fell off the shelf. A black shirt that had angel wings on hugged her small form while blue jeans with holes in the knees showed signs of a tribal tattoo. "I guess it is also my fault because I wasn't paying attention." She smiled shily and moved her head so her red hair fell infront of her eyes. "I'm new here so I don't know many people. My name is Odette."

She watched the girl, titling her head. she seemed strange... not very social, but hell Maddie was always the girl to get someone going. She giggled "ahh, ohwell, atleast no ones dead" she teased and bit her lip even harder. She let go, nodding "I'm Madeline," she said "I've been here for awhile, probably a month or so" she explained and sighed. "So what are you doing here, anyways? you like to read?" she questioned, tilting her head again.

Looking up on a shelf, she saw a book of sheet music and plucked it off and opened it. "I read when I can, but most of the time I'm looking for new sheet music." She seemed to by pass the comment on death and smiled calmly. "It's a pleasure to meet you, Madeline."
Odette looked out the window and wondered what musical progarms they had in the area. "Do you know what kind of music progarms are offered here?"

She shrugged at her question, glancing around "naw, I just ride my horses" she said and giggled. She never was in to anything musical except listening to music. She looked back to Odette "but I'm sure they have them posted somewhere in the library," she said as she glanced around the place. They had to, they had everything at the library.. I mean, come on.

"I was never much of an animal person, but hey everyone is different." Looking around the area which she stood she nodded in agreement to her. "Well, where are the bulletine boards?"

Duncan wasn’t like the stereotypical jock. He was committed to his schoolwork and frequently worked on his homework in the library instead of resulting to tomfoolery like his football teammates. He walked into the library carrying his backpack slung over one shoulder. He eventually came to an empty room to a far corner of the library where he dropped the backpack down onto the small circular table. He unzipped the backpack’s back pocket slipping out his Apple Mac Book laptop on the table. He opened it up and powered it on. He took out his history book and took in a deep sigh.
Quickly he grabbed out his agenda from the front pocket. His eyes looked over his homework for the following day. An essay subject on the United States’ early involvement in World War II. He took in a deep breath and walked over to the history wing of the library.
