A Quick Swim {Sabrina}

[Jared Knight]

Jared pulled up on his motorbike and parked it in the small parking lot at the base of the pier. He climbed off and grabbed his towel from the handle bars. The winter sun was shining on the rippling water as Jared made his way down the pier. He'd only text Sabrina a few minutes before so he wasn't expecting her be anywhere near yet. Jared lay his towel out on the end of the pier and sat down. He pulled off his Metallica t-shirt, revealing his toned chest and stomach, and folded it up to make a kind of pillow. He had his swimming trunks on under his black jeans but he couldn't be bothered to take them off just yet. Instead he pulled off his black boots and socks and lay back, enjoying the first sun of the New Year.

[Sabrina Lerouse]

Sabrina was excited about meeting up with Jared. She hadn't talked to him in forever it seemed. She jumped into her red Grand AM and turned it on, turning the volume up. She had on a pair of shorts and a t-shirt, under that a black bakini with a pink skull on the left butt cheek. She yawned as she drove to the pier, getting out and looking around. Once she'd spotted Jared she walked twords him, her low top converse hitting the deck loudly. She had a pink towel in the right hand, and once she approached him she lay it down. "Hey," she said softly as she kicked off her shoes and sat down beside her. She looked out to the water, then over at him with a huge smile.

[Jared Knight]

Jared opened his eyes and grinned at Sabrina. "Hey girl," he said. "I've missed you. Come here!" He rolled over and pounced on her, giving her a massive bear hug. "How you been?" He finally let her go and sat cross legged, looking at her, unable to get the grin off of his face.

[Sabrina Lerouse]

She giggled as he hugged her, throwing her arms around him also. "I've been pretty good" she said, a smile on her face also. She loved being around him, he made her feel important... but thats what best friends were for. "I got two jobs, one as a counselor and one at American Eagle" she explained, nodding "how about you? Anything new?"

[Jared Knight]

Jared rolled his eyes. "You know Derek Vinyard? Well my sister's decided she'd in love with him. She's even got his name tattooed on her!" Jared had been worrying about his sister all night. He sighed then snapped into it, determined not to let it ruin his day with Sabrina.

[Sabrina Lerouse]

She shook her head "naw, I don't know him..." she said and shrugged "whats so bad about him?" she questioned as she looked down at her feet dangling off the deck then back to him. She knew he was really protective of his sister, but she obviously didn't understand who he was.

[Jared Knight]

"He's a nazi!" he said, regretting letting his sister stay over the night before. "Anyway," he said. "LET'S SWIM!" He laughed and stood up, pulling Sabrina up with him. He unbuttoned his jeans and pulled them down, revealing his plain blue swimming trunks. He wiggled his eyebrows at her before dive bombing into the water, sending water all over her.

She just laughed, shaking her head. A nazi? Well, ok... maybe Jared was just over exagerating. She watched him, being pulled up she just giggled. She slipped out of her clothes showing her bakini before he jumped in getting her all wet. She squeeled, giggling as she jumped in after him. When she surfaced she doggy paddled around, laughing. She missed swimming all the time, it was always fun.

[Jared Knight]

Jared flicked the water out of his eyes as he surfaced and he swam over to her. "I've missed swimming," he said, swimming in circles around her. He was trying not to stare to much at her body. Jared had fancied her for years but would never have the confidence to tell her. They'd been friends since he could remember and he didn't want to mess it up now.

[Sabrina Lerouse]

She nodded "me too," she said. She also missed taking her horses swimming, that was always fun. Even though they'd be weird about it and trash around in the water... it was still fun if you had a trained horse. She knew she had feelings for Jared, but she'd never said anything about it or tried showing it. She didn't think he would feel the same... and figured it would be awkward and ruin everything. She snapped out of her thoughts, looking over at him and giggling. She splashed him playfully, going under water and swimming around his legs.

[Jared Knight]

Jared laughed, feeling her touch his legs. He tried not to kick her as he dived under the water and found her. He grabbed her hand and pulled her up towards the surface. As they broke the water he held her close to him in one arm and began to tickle her with the other. "Ha, got you now!" he said, laughing.

[Sabrina Lerouse]

She felt him bring her up and squealed when she surfaced. She began to laugh uncontrollably as he tickled here. She squirmed around in his arms, giggling away. If anyone knew how to tickle her it was Jared. She usually wasn't even ticklish, but in this case she was. "S...stop it!" she cried out in-between her giggle fits. She continued to laugh as she playfully beat her hands against his chest.

[Jared Knight]

Jared stopped tickling her, laughing hard, but kept her held close to him. Kicking his legs to keep them afloat, he grinned at her, their heads level, bobbing on the water. "Did you know I've known you for eighteen whole years now?" It sounded such a long time when he said it out loud.

[Sabrina Lerouse]

She held on him, kicking her own legs so he wouldn't have to hold her up the whole time. She smiled at his comment "yeah, thats like..." she began "forever..." she said and laughed at herself. "Well, it feels like we've known eachother forever" she said and bit her lip. She looked over the water, then back to him.

[Jared Knight]

He didn't look away from her. "I hope I do know you for ever. Life would be crap without you." He smiled and gave her a little squeeze, his hands in the hollow of her back under the water. He remembered the time they'd come to the pier when they were 9, ten whole years ago. Sabrina had asked him to kiss her, just as friends, but had ran away when he tried to. That was the first day he'd ever thought of her as more than a friend.
