Ok so maybe Jolie was lying to the woman, but what was she supposed to say? 'Oh my God! You need to get something that makes you look less like a can of busted biscuit dough!' Of course that's what she was thinking when the woman who honestly should've chose something alittle more...well..modest for her size, but she couldn't say that could she? Absolutely not, she'd loose her job! She loved her job here, she got to dress up everyday, and she got a discount. Who would ever want to loose a discount at Victoria's Secret? No one!

The woman looked pleased, as though Jolie was only reassuring her of something she already knew, well..thought, and told Jolie she'd buy it. After the woman stepped back into her cubicle in the dressing room and changed, Jolie led her to the counter to check her out. She smiled the whole time, telling the woman her total then telling her to have a nice day. Once the woman was out of sight, the brunette looked at one of the other employees beside her and widened her eyes playfully, chuckling as she made her to organize the displays.

Suprisingly, business had been slow this afternoon. Though, she wasn't complaining ever since she started here it seemed like everyday was busier than the one before.

Marie walked into Victorias Secret looking for Jolie. She had been in New York for a couple of months on scholarship at a dance school and had just recently returned to Drakesville. She had talked to Jolie a few days ago but didnt say when as she wanted to suprise her.

She was wearing a pair of jeans, a blue tanktop and blue heels. She walked into the store and went to the counter. "Can you tell me where I can find the amazing Jolie Nemcova?" She asked Jolie with a smile. Marie had grown her hair out and it was now quite long since the last time Jolie had seen her

Oh! How Jolie had missed her wonderful Marie! She had missed her best friend very much so indeed. Marie hadn't told her she was coming home, so Jolie figured it'd be awhile before she saw her again.

She was still busying herself with organizing when she heard someone ask for her. The brunette looked up and an imediate grin grew on her face. "MARIE!" She squealed, then looked around. "Sorry.." She apologized to what other people were in the store, then attacked her friend with a hug. "Why did you tell me you were coming?" She asked excitedly.

Marie squeeled back as Jolie hugged her. Marie had missed her so much. It was hard being in a new place and trying to make friends and expecially in such a competitive atmosphere like the school in New York.

Marie smirked. "I didnt tell you because I thought suprising you would be much more fun for the both of us" She looked around the store and giggled at all the people who gave them funny looks. Jolie and Marie were inseperable.

Making friends in an entirely new place, Jolie knew all about that, and it was very hard. She had heard all about just how competitive it was, so she couldn't even begin to imagine how hard it must've been to make friends there.

Jolie laughed, shrugging her shoulders, "Well you were right! Oh my gosh! I can't believe you're home!" She squealed excitedly again. Yes, it was true they were inseperable. Jolie thought of Marie as the sister she never had so her being gone for such a long time was insane.

Marie smiled. 'I cant either but I'm so happy to be back. You know were going to rule the school again." Marie and Jolie had always been known as the most attractive and popular girls in the school. No one dared to mess with them. "I see you got a job. I really need to find one so I can keep up with my lessons." Usually her teachers saw so much promise that they didnt ask for money they instead had her be a receptionist at the studio

"Oh you know it.. that school isn't going to know what happen when we walk through those doors Monday." Jolie told her puckering her lips slightly and furrowing her eyebrows, before letting out a laugh. "Yeah, I love it too! The discounts aren't too bad either." She smiled, then her eyes widened alittle. "I think they might be hiring here if you'd want to apply." She shrugged her shoulders alittle. "Your hair has gotten so much longer since the last time I saw you. It's looks really pretty like that."

Marie smirked. "Well all I can say is that this year is going to be different" She looked around the store to make sure there were no customers that would interupt her and Jolie. Fortunatly the store was pretty empty now. "That would be great I would love to work with you." Marie played with her hair a little. "I love it long, hopefully I can keep it this way for a while" She smiled

"And how will it be different, my lovely Marie?" Jole asked with a giggle. She absoluetly adored this girl, she was just so fun to be around, and one thing was certain there was never a dull moment with her. "Well, I can get you an application. It'd be so much fun to have you working here!" Jolie shook her head alittle. "It's really pretty like that I mean it, you better not cut it Marie Knight." She scolded her friend playfully, furrowing her eyebrows to show she meant business.

Marie smiled softly 'Well you know Derek" She said softly. 'Were together now" Marie was happy for the first time in her life but the problem was that Jolie wasnt white and she knew Derek wouldnt be happy about that. "I would love to work here with you and raise hell!" She laughed then played with her hair a little. "dont worry I love it this length" She smiled softly then looked at her again. "so what have you been up to, any lucky guys in your life?"

Jolie's smile faltered slightly, she knew Derek, well she had heard about how only liked people of his nationality. "Oh really?" She asked forcing a smile back. "Well that's good, I'm happy for you." She just prayed that nothing bad came of this. "I know! That's be so much fun! I'll grab you an application before I leave and bring it to you later." She told her laughing softly. "Good, I really should cut mine actually it's getting almost too long" She looked down at her own hair and sighed before looking back at Marie. "Eh.. not really. I need one, I know." She shrugged her shoulders.

Marie smiled softly. "Thanks Jolie. You will always be my best friend though" Marie and Jolie had been through so much you couldnt even imagine. "That would be great I will fill it out right away." She played with the hem of her shirt a little then looked up at Jolie. "No yours looks fine the way it is." Marie hated change for the most part but hopefully some good changes were on the way

Jolie's smile widened at Marie's comment. "Thanks Marie, you know you'll always be my best friend too." She couldn't imagine it anyother way really. "Good, I'll get one for you as soon as I get a chance." She glanced down at her watch for a second and shook her head. "I've got a couple hours left here.." She puckered her lips out into a pout. "Want to hang out after I get off of work?"

Marie smiled and then hugged Jolie. "Sounds great and of course, we have so much more to catch up on" She knew she would have to sneak away from Derek untill she could fully explain the situation. Who knows maybe he would make and exception for her. Marie knew she had to be honest with him but she would never lose Jolie as a friend
