Kris walked into the local Dairy Queen that was right down the street from her family's house. Her stomach was rumbling for a Blizzard or something of the like to that. Her startling blue eyes looked around the place, taking in the local culture with a bit of surprise. It wasn't exactly what she was expecting. She walked up to the counter and ordered a Cotton Candy Blizzard. She paid the person behind the counter and when and sat down on the bench waiting for the ice cream and looking around [/color]

She fought off the temptation to lick her lips, she'd seen it ready for the oven and now she was seeing it being given to someone. Wow, ever since she started working here it seems her dreams were just a little far away. She saw the man put rashers of bacon over the breast. Practical and sensible.. she though.
The backs of her eyes were stinging with unshed tears with the onions, if people came here for blizzards why can they eat hot in here too? Surely a place should have one theme. This was Shideh's reasoning. Those are just the mini-tasks, she turned back slowly to the counter. "Let's keep things as normal as possible today!" she shouted to a gang she recognised from school. She needed the money so she didn't care what they thought of her job here.
She briefly closed her eyes, tried to gather her strength. When a young boy approached the bin and threw in his burger. She pasted a smile and said to him "It would be a pity to waste good food, we have to eat-" . The boy thought she was joking, he giggled and turned away, back to his family.
She laid her arms down on the counter, not looking like a professional as such but no one had approached the counter so far. "Shideh", a woman called, and handed her a Cotton Candy Blizzard. "To that bench over there", she indicated the bench where someone was sat. Shideh pasted a smile and approached the table. "One Cotton Candy Blizzard" she left it on the bench table and smiled at the girl, "Will there be anything else?" she asked.
