It really just depended on the way you looked at it. Kind of like it the glass half full or alf empty. It was around two o'clock in the morning, and Izzy had been unable to sleep. So she grabbed her guitar, pulled on a pair of jeans and a black 'LOVE' hoodie, slid out her window, then jumped in her car and drove to the beach. This was the only time she really cared for the beach, it was quiet and it looked a million times more beautiful than it did during the day.
She sat down in the sand near the edge of the shore, strumming on a few chords as she watched the stars glisten like diamonds in the water.
I am outside And I've been waiting for the sun With my wide eyes I've seen worlds that don't belong My mouth is dry with words I cannot verbalize Tell me why we live like this
She sang quietly, letting the waves of the water barely hit her bare feet. Izzy inhaled, smelling the salty water of the ocean instead of coconut tanning oil..blech. That was another thing she hated being at the beach during the day.
Keep me safe inside Your arms like towers Tower over me
Cause we are broken What must we do to restart Our innocence And all the promise we adored Give us life again cause we just wanna be home
