Duncan and Chloe were completely alone in his hospital room. He had been told by his mother that he was hit by a drunk driver. He didn’t know the status of the muscle car he built with his lost father. It was probably a total wreck. He was happy that she wasn’t hurt, “I’m glad you weren’t in the car with me babe.”
