Marinna wobbled into the automatic doors of the hospital. Her belly was now the size of a 7 months pregnant woman, even though she was only five month along. Today was the day that Dr. McClintock could finally determine the sex of the baby. Marinna was excited, she was still coping with what happened to Jackson but this baby was the most joyous thing she could have ever asked for. She saw it as a way of God leaving something behind of Jackson.
Her hair was up in a ponytail and she had on a pair of maternity jeans with the stretchy waistband and a maternity shirt that flowed over her rather large baby bump. Rubbing it, she walked over to the information desk to a lady with a warm, welcoming smile. "Hello, my name is Marinna Neilson. I'm here to see Dr. McClintock for an ultrasound," she said with a smile at the woman's direction. "Okay, Miss Neilson, have a seat in the waiting room and the doctor will be out to see you shortly," the lady replied. "Thank you , ma'am," Marinna smiled as she turned around and headed to a seat in the lobby."

Vanessa walked over to the information desk to ask the clerk if any patients had arrived yet. "Yes, a Miss Marinna Neilson," the lady replied as she handed her the folder. "Perfect! I've been waiting for her to come in all morning. Thanks, Rosie," she answered as she walked over towards the lobby, "Marinna Neilson." She smiled warmly as she looked over to the young lady sitting in the chair looking exhausted.

Marinna looked up from a magazine she had been reading and over to Dr. McClintock. A smile immediately crossed Marinna's face, "Hey, Dr. Mack! I'm so excited to find out about the baby today." Marinna hadn't talked to Vik much over the past few months, she had a lot on her plate. She was planning to call him tonight and tell him all about the ultrasound. Marinna stood up and laid the magazine down on a table and put her bag over her arm.

"I'm excited to find out what the baby is as well, sweetie," she said with a smile. She led Marinna into the elevator and up to the second floor. Next, she led her into a room where there was an ultrasound machine. "Alright, honey, take a seat up here and we'll get you started," she said as she took out the gel and turned the machine on.

Marinna climbed up onto the hospital bed and laid back. Her stomach felt cold as Dr. Mack applied the gel to her belly. The reading part of the machine tickled a bit as the doctor moved it across her belly. Marinna heard the doctor let out a gasp. "What? What's wrong with my baby?" she shouted nervously as she sat up.

Vanessa gasped at what she saw on the screen and looked over to Marinna. She let out a giggle after seeing Marinna freak out. "Lay down, honey," she said sweetly, "You want to find out what you're having don't you?" She sighed as Marinna laid back down. "Well, honey, I have some good news and some bad news," she said looking over to her, "The good news is the babies are healthy, the bad news is that you're going to have twice the work load on your shoulders."

Marinna looked up at the doctor as if she was crazy. "Babies? Twice? What do you mean? I'm having twins?" Marinna smiled a very big smile and sat up, "Two boys? Two girls? One of each?" This was the icing on the cake to her pregnancy. Two children at once? Of course it would be hard, but Marinna could handle it.

Vanessa looked over to her and smiled once more at her reaction. "Honey, you'll be having a boy and a girl. So in September, we can expect two bundles of joy. Start thinking of baby names, hon," she said as she wiped the gel off of her tummy and turned the machine off, "You're free to go and tell anyone you want to." Vanessa helped her off of the table and out the door.

"Thank you, Dr Mack," she said as she walked out of the door and down to the lobby again. Marinna reached the lobby and walked out of the hospital doors in the direction of her car. It would probably take a little bit, considering she had to wobble her way there.
