Gunner leaned back in his chair at The Skillet. He came here a lot for it's southern cooking and home atmosphere. He smiled around as the waitress brought him his drink. He winked at her and she blushed as he began to drink from the long neck bottle. A good song started playing on the juk box and he sang along slowly
"Cowboys like us, sure do have fun..." He sang to himself not wanting to disturb anyone else, though there were few people in here. He'd just gotten off work but had went home to take a shower first. After his last time out eating he didn't want to smell like shrimp all day. He had put on his good wranglers and his green button up shirt. Now all he needed was a lady

Krissi had the urge to eat some good ol' Southern food tonight, so she decided to eat at the Iron Skillet. Her yellow corvette pulled up at the Iron skillet, and she stepped out. She was lucky she made it there in one peice, because the roads were slick and her car was sliding all over the place.
The attire of Krista was a simple one, tonight. She wore a pair of tight hiphugger MUDD bluejeans, which were faded, and there was wholes fashionably placed below her knees. She also wore a pair of brown tanned Uggz boots and a short sleeve sky blue Abercrombie and Fitch shirt. Over her shirt was a pink Hollister hoodie. Her hair was back in a ponytail as she held her purse close to her side. She had on some cute makeup too.. Her makeup consisted of some eye-liner, lipstick, and blush.. She smelt of coconuts, from her hand lotion, and watermelon from her spray perfume.
She stood at the entrance, looking around, for her waitress. The Iron Skillet was a place where they sat you at the same table as random people, so you could get to know each other, as they do in the south.. She liked knowing new people.. This would truly be an experiance.. The only thing was, she was flying solo tonight.

Gunner ran a hand through his hair and took another drink of his beer. No one had been seated with him yet and he didn't know why. Everyone else had someone with them and he was hoping for a pretty brunette. Marinna was the only blonde he'd liked in a while and he always found he liked brunette better. Besides last time he'd been stuck with some big burly guy nmed Jeb who had made his nite miserable. That was the thing about the Skillet you never knew what you would get
The waitress walked up and he flashed her another smile. If nothing else he could get ehr number after his meal. She seemed to be taking to him really well. He ordered the chicken fried steak and stared at her ass as she walked off. She was a rather pretty watress but not really his type

The waitress flashed a smile at her after asking how many was in the party.. She answered her with a solemn "One". She didnt mind being alone, she needed some alone time every so often.. who didnt? She followed the waitress into the restraunt, passing the old-timey fireplace.. The waitress then laid her menu beside Gunner.. She then followed the waitress to the table and took a seat on the chair.. She adjusted her seating a bit as she scooted closer to the table..
She looked next to herself at Gunner, smiling a bit.. She had seen him around before, and she was always one to be attracted to cowboys, so she decided to make conversation.. "Hey there.".

"Well howdy missy." Gunner had to stop himself from staring. God must have really loved him today. He was scared that at any moment he would droll and his eyes would pop out of his head. He tried to concentrate on the fireplace instead of that beautiful face. He even felt a little nervous in front of her
"The name's Gunner." He figured he should introduce himself. He had seen her here once before but he wasn't overly familiar with her. After his date with Marinna things coudln't get much worse

Krissi smiled at him as she put her purse in the floor at her feet and began to look through the menu.. glancing over at Gunner every so often.. The atmosphere of the whole restraunt was cozy.. The fireplace and the hardwood floor which cracked when you walked on it.. it was just a down home Southern feeling, and she loved it..
She then turned to him, smiling.. "Hey Gunner, I'm Krissi.." She smiled, looking around checking him out once more and then redirecting her attention to the menu.. "What's good to eat here?" She asked.. She hadnt eaten here in a long time, but she was HUNGRY..

"I ordered the chicken fried steak but that's just my favorite." The hick accent came out just a bit more as he talked. He was having a hard time thinking of nothing else than those pretty grey eyes. He wanted to say soemthing to keep the conversation going but he was at a loss for words right now. He kept looking at her and he had noticed her checking him out, at least he hoped she had been checking him out
*Krissi* He said her name in his head and smiled at the sound of it. It was such a pretty anme for such a pretty girl. He ran a nervous hand through his hair again as he hoped she would say something more. If only he could think of soemthing to say

Krissi smiled at him... she loved his accent.. It really turned her on.. but she wasnt the type of girl to tell him that it turned her on.. but she would compliment him on it.. she was just a sweetheart like that.. She smiled at him as she put the menu down.. She was ready to order.. the waitress approached her.. ready to take her order.. "Yeah, Um.. I'll have a coke to drink, and a grilled chicken salad.." She smiled sweetly and handed the menu back to the waitress..
She then turned her attention back to Gunner.. "Your accent is too adorable..You look so familiar.. Oh my god.. I hate it when I see people I know but I cant place who they are.." She was frustrated.. She yawned a bit.. looking around.. trying to make conversation.. "It's cozy in here, isnt it?"

A salad, of course the girl would order a salad. He didn't even know why she asked him what was good. He just sighed as he crossed his arms over his chest and leaned back in his chair. He watched her closely and couldn't help noticing how amazing her smile was
"Well thank you darlin some people like it but others can't stand it." He had noticed that girls seemed to fall in love with it though. The ladies had a crazy thing for accents and he was there to supply. He took another drink of his ceer realizing he was going to need another soon.
"I've seen you in here once before but it's been a while. I come here a lot for the cozy atmosphere. It's like the ranch I used to work on." He could never forget that pretty face. He remembered seeing her before and wishing he could take her home with him. He had a hard time passing up a girl like that but she had seem preoccupied then

Krista smiled at him as he began to speak about his accent. She listened to his accent while he talked about his accent. She smirked a bit as he continued to talk. She then nodded her head at him as he spoke about seeing her before.. "I have alot going on so it's hard to remember just what I see from one time to another.. I dont know.." She smiled a bit as the waitress then brought her meal over to her.. She smiled and thanked the waitress as she took a sip of the southern delecacy sweet tea. She then jabbed her fork down at a piece of grilled chicken, catching some cheese, and ranch dressing, and lettuce with it.. She raised it to her mouth and took a bite, sliding it off of her fork. She looked at him.. "Mmm. This is really good.." It was true, it really was.

His food was brought out and Gunner smiled to the girl. She was still checking him out but he had a lovely lady sitting right in front of him. He picked up his fork and knife so he could cut off a piece of steak. He had tried to be more civil lately and not eat like a pig. He was just used to shoving his food down his throat from his days at the ranch. He took a bite and tried to savor it though he had to fight the urge to swallow before chewing
"Yeah mine's not bad either." Of course the chicken fried steak was always good here. He watched her eat with a smile in his eyes. She ate just like a girl. She seemed to think about every bite before she took it. Really he was tempted to say something but he didn't think he should
"So how old are you?" He had learned to ask that after his last experience

Krista did, she didnt want to admit it, but she did. She scooped up some more food, mostly in small proportions that Gunner and most men would laugh at. She then examinied it for a bit and then put it in her mouth. She smiled as she took another sip of her tea. She looked around at the fireplace and she smiled, she was content with this night out, she had met a new, handsome friend, and she had a great meal.. She was living it up.. She took a few more bites from her salad, leaving it only half eaten as she shoved the plate foward a bit.."Woah, I'm stuffed.." She smiled.. as she took another sip of her sweet tea. And she then got asked a question, but it semeed like she was focused on somthing else.. But once he asked another time.. She raised her head.. "Oh, who.. Me? I'm sixteen.." She hoped it wouldnt be a problem.. In guys, she didnt mind their age, as long as they treated her right. Same with her parents, as long as they werent like 40 they were okay with it.. if she was.
