The only reason Ron ever went to this place was to find people he knew as a lot of his friends seemed to enjoy comming to this place and his best friend Al worked here. He never understood the bad fad over this internet since it started. Sure he got an email account but he never bothered with the dumb things like myspace or facebook, why not just give him a call instead like most of his friends did?
Comming at 2 pm with a football in hand, into the cafe, he looked around for his friend Al, who said he would go hang out with him at that time because he was getting off work so they could go shoot hoops or through the pigskin around. Usually bringing a basketball with him since Ron was a little more talented at that sport and it was just an easier game to pick up, he desided to be different this time and actually bring his football instead.
Walking in wearing a white undershirt, blue jeans, and his dirty white running shoes, he slowly looked around at all the people looking intensely at their screens and then noticed Al off in the distance helping somebody out with their computer. "Hey Al!" Then doing what he did best, leaping before he looked, he threw the football torpedo style right towards Al's head, most probibly before the poor guy really had any time to respond to it. If it happend to Ron there was no way he would have that quick enough time to respond, but Ron wasn't thinking then. He just wanted to throw the football and have a good conversation with Allen and that was what he planned to do in the end.

Allen heard Ron and as he was about to turn around, he felt something hit him directly in the back of the head. "Well, hello to you too," he said as he picked up the football and walked over to the counter. "Hey, Mark, I'm leaving," he yelled to his boss. "Yeah, whatever, bye lover boy," he remarked as AM came back over to Ron. Allen-Michael just rolled his eyes.
"So, what's been up with you?" he asked with great interest, he hadn't seen Ron in about a month or two. "Still on the basketball team?" He was more curious about what Ron had to say about Chloe. He was hoping he wouldn't be mad due to the "don't date your bro's ex" rule.

He was just about to bring that whole thing up about what he was doing with his ex and how he shouldnt do it and why when suddenly the man brought up basketball randomly and his one track mind totally changed directions. "Yeah man, I'm team captain, you shoulda been at the game the other day and saw me, I was on fire. I scored half the teams points, mostly as 3 pointers, scouts are gonna be looking for me now after that game." He always thought he was a football or hockey person. He wasn't to amazing at football though, expecially compared to some other guys on the team who weren't even scholarship material to begin with, and all he did in hockey was try to pick fights. It would take him a bit of time to realize basketball was the real sport for him, expecially with encouragement from friends. "And being named team captain is amazing, it's so hard, but it's a responsibility I'm ready to take." He was quoting what his coach said to him there but at least he knew what it meant. "You should show up to a few of my games man."
Taking the football suddenly from Allen's hands, he steped back a few steps and lightly threw it over towards him so they could toss it around as they kept no walking in a busy parking lot, always a good place to throw a football around for two guys like them. "Hey man, I gotta bit o' beef to ask you 'bout. You startin to see some girl named Chloe?" Hopefully he knew where he was going with this as he brought it up quickly on the phone. His main reason for seeing him here now was because he hadn't seen one of his best friends in forever but the second main reason was to question about all of this.

"Yeah, I heard, dude. I'm proud of ya," he said tossing the football back to him, "I was going to come with Marinna to the game the other night, but Mark had me working. So I never made it, I heard it was weird with everyone's drama. The fans fighting between the schools and stuff. I also heard that the Panthers played an amazing games. Yeah, you're going to have your hands full with that team captain position."
When he heard Ron say Chloe's name, he sighed. He had been trying to avoid this conversation. This was the only time where Ron's incapability to remember previously talked about conversations didn't come in handy. "Yeah, I've been talking to her a lot. She's a really sweet girl and not too bad looking," he said with a smile, "She actually invited me over later tonight. Why do you ask?"

"I don't even pay attention to all that shit, I just played a good game." Appearently outside of the game there were fights going on and lots of drama between people. His name came up a lot in it as well he heard to, mostly from one person of he knew who and who they were about to talk about. What was important to him was he played his best and his best was THE best, which it was that night so he considered it a good night.
More importantly though, they could talk about all of that later as he was yet again going to do good in another game that maybe he'll actually show up to and it was mostly filler conversation anyway. There were more important things to talk about here. "She's bad new man. I'm not gonna sit here and dictate how to run your life, you know I don't do that so when I saw she's bad news I actually mean it. She may seem nice now but overall she's just a drama queen looking for some drama action. She'll tear you apart and then move on to the next guy. Take it from my experience man."

"I dunno, man," he said scratching his head, "She just doesn't seem that way to me. I mean, you know me anyways. I don't go by someone else's judgement, I like to see for myself." He looked up at Ron, "As long as you don't get pissed if we see each other or something, I'm not going to just stop acting interested."

"I know man, that's why I'm not gonna get pissed at you or tell you not to do it. I'm just saying, you don't want to see this one through, she's bad news all around and it's going to hurt you more then anything else.. if I saw her with you I'd never get pissed. She's not in this relationship for you though, she's in it for herself, just like me before you, she's just moving on to the next. If she doesn't get what she wants, which is all the time, she screams and cries... all the time. Total spoiled drama queen, flat out." He obviously had a lot of resentment about her when he said all of this. "And I'm not saying this as an exboyfriend angry at her. I'm saying this as your best friend looking out for you. Chu know what I mean? You'd say the same things for me in my position."

"Good lookin' out, Ron," he said thinking about Chloe. She couldn't be as horrible as Ron described. He was determined to find out on his own and not be a judgemental ass, "Well, listen, I'm going to have to go home and shower up, get a bite to eat and then go meet up with her. But, i'll call you later on and let you know how everything went and all. Alright? Oh, and we have to get together with some of the boys and play something while I'm here. See ya," he said finishing as he walked out of the CC.

When he saw his friend totally just drop out on that like him, he may have been a fool, but even here he could tell his friend just totally abandond him because of his lectures about his ex girlfriend. They were about to go hang out, as agreed before, and now he was suddenly busy? "Fuck Al man." That was the most he said as he went and walked off, kicking a garbage can in anger outside, knocking it over, and then walking off another way.
