Board Description
Leafcloud Falls
This 620-foot cascade of water stands as the second highest year-round waterfall in the country. It's created by natural springs and melting snows from Larch Mountain. The water flow changes seasonally, from the roaring cascade of spring to an icy trickle midwinter. The cliff face is layered with five different lava flows, evidence of the Cascades' volcanic past. Stand at the bottom of the falls to feel the misty splendor or hike the paved trail to Benson Bridge for a close-up view.
