The sun was blazing throughout the Latozia Park. On one of the picnic tables sat six year old Chasity Good. Her month old kitten, Tabbie was sitting on the picnic table in front of her. They were sharing a .99 cent cheeseburger from McDonalds that Chasity had just gotten.
Chasity hadn't really eatten much that day and neither has Tabbie. Chasity was sort of running out of money to spend. She has been on her own for three weeks, sleeping in the alleyways of Drakesville. See, Chasity was an orphan. She didn't live at the Orphanage, like she was suppose to be, but in the streets.
Three weeks ago, her parents had been killed in a car accident. She was in the back seat and just suffered a small cut on her forehead, which was a visible scar now.
Chasity's book bag was sitting on the table next to Tabbie and was open. Inside was some clothes, a coloring book with crayons and some money.

The Hawk was out getting a sandwich. He had no complicated life like that child did, eventhough he was a complicated person, and just getting a job he had money to splurge on things like subways sandwiches, 6 foot long of cold cut slices filled with extra of just about everything, the way The Hawk liked it.
The streets were a little busy though and Frankie failed to find any seats to sit down so he took the easy approached of going against a brick wall by an alleyway and just eat there. He wasn't scared of any alleys, it was broad daylight for one thing with loads of people around and besides if anybody ever came at him with anything he was like 5 times their size and a trained mixed martial art fighter.
Sitting down he opened it and took a big bite.

Chasity started looking around and she couldn't help but see a guy across the street, just sitting in the alleyway. The alleyway that she had just came from about ten minutes ago. She didn't know if she should go and see if something was wrong with him. She knew better to talk to strangers.
She just turned back to Tabbie and petted her. She then took out her coloring book and crayons and started coloring. She kept looking over at the guy as he sat there.

A boy stood beside a tree, looking up at its' branches and lush green leaves. Then he reached up with his arms and began climbing. But it wasn't that simple. One second he was staring up, longingly, into the tree, then the next second he was scampering up the branches like a chimpanzee! He managed to climb about half ways up, before stopping on a thick branch. He sat down on it, one of his legs dangling down. He could see everything from up here. Well, what wasn't blocked by the leaves anyway. He stared down at the ground where he spotted a girl with a small cat at a picnic table, a boy in the alleyway eating...something, and other odd passers-by, that he didn't bother to pay any attention to. Cuyler jumped down from the tree and walked over to the little girl, "Hey there! Whatchu colouring?" he asked, smiling brightly. He was seated across from her now, his arms crossed against the table as he leaned in to get a better look at what she was doing.

As he was eating his sandwich he noticed a strange pair of eyes eyeing him and when he was eating food at a place like this it always meant bad news. Looking over, although he strongly regreated doing that right afterwords, he noticed a girl sitting there looking at him and more important that delecious food he had. She looked like one of those street youth.
Trying to pretend to act disgusted at first he turned away but did the stupid mistake of looking back right after to still see her looking. He was hungry just bought the perfect sandwish and somebody had to come along and ruin the perfect moment. Trying to rid of it by taking another bite he could barley chew the bite as he swallowed and looked over at her. "Why can't ya just get a job like the rest of us?!" Although what he said there was cruel it actually showed signs of weakness and pitty for Frankie seeing the child and now he was try to shoo it or something. "I'm Hungry to!"
It was at that time a boy suddenly popped in front of her to distract her or something and he took another bite of his sub before her attention gained back to it again.

Chasity was a little startled when the boy just sat down across from her and started talking to her. "A bear," she replied, not saying anymore. She lost intrest in the guy across the street and the boy sitting by her. Her kitten started to purr and then struted over to the boy and meowed.

"That's cool," he said with great enthusiasm in his voice, "I wish I could draw and colour well." he muttered, "I could become some famous artist!" he giggled, "I'm Cuyler, by the way. Who're you? You seem a bit young to be out here by yourself." he said, but of course he, himself was a bit young to be wandering the streets alone. It didn't bother him much though. He did it every day. He could defend himself quiet easily if need be.
