Melody listened as he explained to her what she needed to do and did just what he said. She took the ball from him and ran to the other end of the court jumping up and making a slight move of the ball towards the backboard watching as it fell into the net.

"See." Trey applauses for her. "It's not so hard when you get the hang of it. But that was nicely done.".

Melody turned to look at Trey when she heard him clapping and laughed. "Thanks" She picked the ball up and walked back down to the other end of the court where he was still standing.

"Let's see you put it to the test." Trey knew he made a shot, but he didn't wanna get the ball again for making the shot. "Although, I may have made a shot. You can start with a ball" He smiles, getting into his defense position...

"You just better hope you didn't treat me well enough" She grinned as she started dribbling down the court a little then turned making a circle around him and shooting in a left handed layup making it in and almost knocking him over.

Melody runs over to her bag and grabs her cellphone looking at the message on her screen. It's from Patrick and she sits down for a minute typing in a reply:
At the YMCA, why?
She looks back up at Trey and puts her finger in the air signaling a wait. She wants to see if he will reply right now or not.

"I doubt it" saids Trey, to make her give it her best. But it was a mistake. Trey kept his defense on her, until she circled around him. Trey seen her go for the left handed layup, making him stumble backwards. "Damn. I must of underestimated you." he saids, trying to keep his grounds on his feet. Trey was somewhat surprised, after watching her be the first girl to make a lay-up on him. "Damn." was all he could say. "You got some skills. I knew I shouldn't of taught you that." he said joking around, laughing.
Trey watched her go use her phone. He thought it was important, so he went over to chat with Bryan, for a second..

Melody laughed at Trey's remark to her layup. "Your right you shouldn't have" She looked back down at her phone and read the new message from Patrick. What was she supposed to tell him? He would hopefully not flip out. She relied to his message:
I'm with a boy I met at a party.

She didn't know what to say, Patrick had probably never even met him before. She told him the truth anyway.
His name is Trey.

She sighed, this was going to be difficult having a boyfriend who didn't like one of your other friends.
Okay
She set her phone down and walked back over to Trey. "Hey we can play for a few more minutes, but my boyfriend's coming to pick me up soon." She smiled, she wanted to have fun with him while she could hoping that Patrick wouldn't start anything with the kid when he came.

Trey seen her walk over and hear her mention boyfriend. Trey wasn't a big fan of hanging with girls that had boyfriends, because they boyfriends can be the jealous type. But he was willing to fight, if it provoked too. "Yeah, sure. But your boyfriend better not come, starting no drama." Trey saids, getting to his feet, handing her the ball..
