Taro nodded, "That's cool..." his voice trailed off as he continued to draw. Once he finished he pushed the page away from him and sighed heavily. "Thanks, but that isn't very good." he said pointing to the paper he'd just shoved away from himself. He smiled, "So, where you planning on going to eat?" he asked, sitting back in his chair.

Ashley shrugged, pulling her bag up onto her shoulder. "I really don't mind. You have any preferances?" She wasn't sure whether he was thinking about this as a date or not. She'd meant just to have a little company but if he wanted it to be a date she wasn't going to complain! He was really cute in an Emo sort of way. She blushed just thinking about that and looked down.

Taro stood up seeing another person coming towards the counter, "Not really. I usually go home to eat. I don't tend to do too many stops on my way home," he said, turning his attention to the man at the counter. "Good evening sir," he said with a soft smile, "Were you able to find everything you were looking for?" "Yes." he the man said bluntly, turning to stare at Ashley. He looked her over thoroughly before giving Taro his money. "Two dollars is your change, and would you like the reciet in the bag?" Taro asked, folding the clothing the man had bought and sliding it into the bag. The man nodded, and in went the reciet. "Have a good day, sir!" Taro said with a small wave, then turned back to Ashley. He felt a bit of angry tickling the back of his head at the thought of that man looking at Ashley in such a way. But tried not to let it phase him. Ashley wasn't even close to being his girlfriend. They were basically acquaintances. Ones who kind of randomly started talking, finding a lot in common and then ended up going out for dinner. Just a casual little outing... "Anyways..." he muttered, trying to remember what he'd been talking about before the man had come, "I don't usually eat out because there's no one to really go with. It's no fun by yourself. I have to thank you greatly for inviting me." he said coming out from behind the counter, pulling the keys from out of his pocket. LOCK UP TIME! Hurray! He was always put on lock up. What great fun it was. "So I guess we'll just have to play some enie-meanie-miny-moe, huh?" he chuckled.

Ashley stopped leaning on the counter and followed Taro over to the door. "Well, what sort of food are you in the mood for?" She hoisted her bag higher on her shoulder and tucked a strand of hair behind her ear. "I'm not too keen on seafood so can we avoid fish restaurants?"

Taro let out a small chuckle, “Right, no seafood,” he shook his head slowly, “I’m not a big fan either. Uhm…I could go for a burger or a salad…maybe a pasta of some sort…ehheh…anything really.” He shrugged. He would eat anything. When he got home he usually just grabbed whatever he first saw, whether it be a stick of celery or a piece of chicken. He was also real glad for the company, which made him not care at all what he ate. He hadn’t eaten with somebody since he was three.

Ashley grinned and walked out into the main corridor of the mall so Taro could lock up. "Well we could head on down to Ryans in the Red Light District..." She looked down at her feet. "I know it's not very class but I don't have a lot of money and I know one of the waitresses there. She'd be able to get us alcohol." She didn't want to sound like a wino so she quickly added, "You know, if you want some I mean..."

Taro slipped the keys into his pocket, after locking up. "Ryans sounds great!" he said nodding his head. His eyes widened slightly as she mentioned the alcohol. Maybe going out with a complete stranger wasn't such a good idea. But who knows, in her books it could be a sign of kindness...maybe... He wasn't much a drinker at all. He didn't like the taste, nor the affect it left people in. "Ah, no that's alright. I don't really drink." he said grinning, "But thanks." He continued walking down the emptying halls of the mall.

Ashley grinned, relieved at his answer. "Me neither," she replied. She only drank if she was trying to forget something...or someone. She speeded up a bit so she was in step with Taro. "So, er, do you have a girl friend who'll be out for my blood?" she asked, hoping she sounded casual but knowing she had failed. She smiled a little, going red.
((Dw, I been ill so I haven't been online a lot. I hope your exams went well.))

Taro nearly laughed, but kept his facial expression straight, "No, I can't say that there will be anyone out to get your blood." he said, letting go a small grin. "But I don't doubt there'll be someone standing outside my window, after seeing me with you." he mused.
Taro had never actually had many friends in his lifetime. He always tended to avoid people. That's not to say he hated people, he was a loving, friendly person. He just preferred to be alone. Of course....there was the odd time when he would bring up a conversation with someone. But only if he felt them trustable.
