Marie took all of the vegetables and threw them into the bowls then looked at Jared. "You know what, you dont even fucking know him Jared" SHe walked into her room and grabbed Derek's jacket and put it on. "Im staying as Dereks for the night, have fun eating alone" She said as she started to walk away

Jared dropped the spoon and hurried over to bar the door. "If you think I'm going to let you go anywhere you're either being really stupid or mad!" It made his blood boil even thinking about his sister with that guy, especially in his bed!

Marie bit her lip. "Jared open the fucking door right now" She said as she glared at him. It really wasnt any of his business who she was with, all that mattered was that she loved Derek and no one not even Jared could change that.

Jared didn't budge. "If I let you go you've got to promise not to sleep with him." Jared wasn't sure whether he'd believe her word or not. It wasn't that he didn't trust her. He just didn't trust Derek. He knew first hand what nineteen year old boys wanted and he didn't want his sister to be used like some common prostitute.

Marie sighed. "Jared even if I did sleep with him it would be my decision and mine alone" Marie was a very smart girl and she always though before she acted it was what she did. She wrapped the coat around her tighter and waited for him to open the door

Jared folded his arms across his chest, not moving. "You're way too young for that Marie! He's my age!" His stomach turned at the thought of her having sex with anyone. It seemed only yesterday that he was teaching her to tie her shoelaces and dress herself and she expected him to let her out so some man could UN-dress her?

He rolled his eyes. "Yea, but I wouldn't fuck her! That's just wrong." He took a step towards her. "Ri, I'm not trying to be mean, I just don't want you to get hurt.." It sounded lame but it was true. She'd never known her father so Jared had had to take on that role.

Marie looked at him with a softer look than before. "Jared I love Derek so much, you know as well as me that we cant help who we fall in love with it just happens" Marie really wished Jared would atleast try ot get along with Derek for her sake as it would mean the world to her

He slowly uncrossed his arms. "Urgh, fine, you can go but I still don't want you to sleep with him." He walked forward to her and gave her a hug. "You're my little sis. It's my job to look out for you." No matter how much she claimed to love him, he did not trust Derek one little bit and he doubted he ever would.

He gave her one last squeeze before stepping back and opening the door. He smiled weakly at her then walked back to the stove. The water was bubbling so he took up the spoon again and began stirring. He wasn't looking forward to eating alone but at least if Marie wasn't there he could use full fat cheese.
