Viktor was in the holiday spirit. He had himself a Christmas Tree back at his place, and he already had a lovely christmas dinenr with his mom and dad. He then realized that in order to truely be in the spirit, he had to give back to friends. He decided to get Chloe something for the holidays.
However, he had a problem. He had no idea what she would want. "I could get her a gift card," he thought. He decided it was too tacky. He began to stroll the aisles, pondering what might be a good gift...

Marinna walked into Walmart, famous for it's low prices and such. Christmas was right around the corner and she still had people to buy for. Her entire past month's worth of paychecks from work lined the wallet inside of her purse. "Let's see, I still have to buy for Allen-Michael, Chloe, Kenya, Krissi, Mom and .... Viktor.." she said as she looked up from her list seeing none other than Vicktor in front of her. Don't ask why she was buying for Viktor. I mean, they did break up almost two years ago. She sighed a bit as she headed over towards him.
Her brown uggs made almost no noise as their soft bottoms hit the floors of the superstore. Her knee length flowing pink dress, not the best attire for winter flowed as she walked, passing the white leggings she had underneath of it several times. Around her neck, hung a llarge, antique bronze heart pendant that hit just below her breasts. Her hair, which was pin straight on this occassion was underneath a brown and pink tweed newsboy cap. As she reached the spot behind Viktor, she tapped him on the shoulder. "Hey stranger," she said with a smile, "Where have you been?"

A smile overcame Viktors face as he turned around. "Well, if you'd really like to know, I've been waiting for you," he said with a wink, and then a hug. "I'm just doing some holdiay shopping for my folks an all, just wanna repay them for me being able to be here and meet BEAUTIFUL ladies, such as yourself."
Vik was blushing. Once he realized he was, he was able to stop, but he couldn't get rid of the permanent smile he had whenever Rinna was around. It's like she had control over him.

"Oh," she said blushing a little bit, "If you must know, I was doing the exact same thing." Of course, she was joking, or was she? "I'm here looking for a few things for the last few people on my list," she said flashing the list briefly not wanting him to read every name on there. "How have you been?"
They hadn't seen each other in about a month, football kept him busy and she was off doing a whole lot of other things. It was funny that they both broke-up because they felt they didn't need a relationship but they always got goofy when they were around each other. Marinna looked him up and down, God he was sexy. Probably the hottest person she had ever been around. She found herself looking down at her arm really quick, her sleeve had rolled up a bit, showing the bruise from where Jackson grabbed her and pulled her out of the car. She tried to hide it quickly underneath her sleeve, trying to play it off like she was cold.

"I'm goo- wait a tic," he said, quickly observing the bruise on her arm. "Who did that to you? Know what? It was probably Jackson Frost, that hick sonuvabitch. But, as long as your okay, that's all that matters." He ended it with a smile, but still was looking at her arm, where the bruise was.
However, his eyes began to travel, and boy, did they travel. He began to wonder why he even broke up with her in the first place. However, he had a firm belief that whatever happens is how the Universe says it should happen, so he was fine with it... but damn he still thought she was sexy.

"Well, yeah, it was," she admitted looking down, "But he's an asshole anyways. He got mad at me because I didn't want a relationship with him. Then he got drunk and called me a whore. I guess I kinda asked for it by shoving that in his face, but still."
She looked back up at him and smiled. Part of her was dying to be with him again and the other half was just wanting to be his friend without the weird relationship thing. That's so much easier on her. She was beginning to think she was afraid of committment, but then again, she had already been with Viktor once, "So, who all are you hunting gifts for? I kinda need to get started on that and I figured we could just shop together. We need to catch up a bit anyways." Another reason would be so she could see if he had his eye on anything in the store.

"Sure, why not. I'm buying for.... let's see," he racked his brain for people in his life. "Let's see, you, Chloe, my parents, and I also gotta get a bouquet of flowers for my brothers grave..." he end the sentence with his voice growing slower and softer.
His brother died 6 years ago, and the memory of him was starting to fade. Vik wanted to keep him in his memory, but with new distractions with girls and footballs and such, it has hard. He let out a deep sigh, and his eyes got semi-glazed over.
"Come on, let's get shopping," he said, merely managing to pull out a smile.

As Marinna heard him talk about his brother, she noticed he got a little choked up. The death took a toll on his entire family, not just him. Ever since Marinna had known him, she had noticed how he tried so hard to remember his brother, "We better get shopping if we're going to get all this stuff." She was trying to put the conversation on a light note.
She walked over next to him smiling, as she looked around the store at the signs for different aisles. "Hm... Jewelry," she said aloud as she looked up at a sign three signs away from the one they were under, "I think I'm going to get Chloe a necklace for Christmas. A nice necklace, though, not some crappy one. She is my favorite cousin after all and she's there for me through everything."

Vik slid his hand down so it was stretched across her back, and down across to her thigh.
"Yea, she's pretty much my sister. That would make you my cousin. Does that mean it's wrong to wanna go out with my cousin for a night on the town?"
He began to chuckle, and then he realized he was blushing again.
"Anyways, see anything you might be desiring anytime soon?"

"Isn't that like incest or something?" she asked with a slight giggle as she walked over to the jewelry section. She felt chills when he touched her, it had been a long time since she'd felt that way. "I think i've spotted something I'd like sometime soon," she replied with a wink before turning her attention back to the jewelry cases.
She spotted a necklace that she though Chloe would absolutely love. It's chain was white gold, as was the casing for the diamond. Inside of the casing was a dark blue colored diamond heart, more than likely cubic zirconium, surrounded by tiny pale yellow diamonds, also porbably cubic zirconium. "That looks near perfect!"

"The only difference between you and the diamond is that you aren't just near perfect, you are perfect. And as for incest... i'll make an exception in this occasion," he added with a wink.
He began to rub her shoulders, as he asked, "Now, let's see... hmm... what do you think I should get for my momma? I need feminin advise."

Marinna blushed a little at his comment, "I'll take that one." She pointed to the necklace under the counter, in order for the lady to get it for her. The lady behind the counter handed her the box and Marinna gave her the money for it. "Thank you, ma'am," she said sweetly with a smile. Picking up the gift bag that the necklace was in by the strings, she turned around to face Viktor.
"Hmm... Well, your mom always wore like a million pairs of different earrings when you and I were dating. I don't believe I ever saw her with the same pair in as she had the day before. Does she still wear them a lot?" she asked looking at his with a raised eyebrow.

"Yes she does," Vik said. "But yet, you still haven't given me a direct answer of what you would desire... other then what seems to be arising out of the occasion," he added with a wink.
Vik was always comfortable around her. Seems like she was just a relaxant for his stressing world. Man, he really did miss when they were together.

"Hmm.. that necklace?" she said finding something to tell him she wanted. Thankfully she pointed to one that was actually cute. A silver chain with a silver heart on the end that would hit just below her neck. The one next to it would have been disasterous, a big gawdy grandma-type necklace.
At that moment, she secretly wanted to be back together with him. She wouldn't be the one to tell him though, he might not feel exactly the same way. She turned back around after pointing to the necklace, "That's what I want, Mr. Ivanov." She gave him a quick smile and began to play with the gift bag she had in her hands, "And what do you want?"

Vik leaned over the counter, asked the lady a question, and then handed her his credit card. He then covered Rinna's eyes so she couldn't see what she was getting. He then grabbed the necklace, and put it around her neck.
"Consider it a gift," he whispered finishing the gift giving off with a peck on the cheek. He always had a knack for beign a hopeless romantic.
"Now, as for what I want." Vik said. "I'll give you some clues. 1, It costs nothing. 2, It can breathe. 3, It is equal to nothing in its beauty. and 4, it is right in front of me."
