Candace laughed and rubbed his now wet head. She grabbed his arm and helped him up. She stood up and nodded. "Yeah I'll spend the night if ya want. I got permission from my daddy already. You know how he loves you."She said with a smile. It was true. Her dad absolutely loved Steve and often tried to force them to date over the years they knew eachother. He was estatic when he heard Steven was moving back near them. She took off her hoodie and handed it to him. "Here put this on till we get there. "She said with a smile. Her hoodie was big, one of the guy ones that were meant for winter, rather then girl's which were more fashion then warmth.

He smiled "Cool, if you want that would be cool" He said as he peeled of his shirt and slid on the hoodie. "Come on, im parked over here" He said as he picked up his guitar and began to walk down the dock. At the end, parked on the side of the road was a baby blue 04 toyota Celica with a white airbrushed dragon crawling from the back up to the hood.
He opened the door and set his guitar in the back and got in, turning the key and letting the sound of "buy you a drink" pump through the speakers. Although he was a rocker, he sure did like beats.

Candace followed him to his car. "Pfft, Of course. We can get our party on and Hey! why didn't you pick me up instead of me taking the bus?"She asked blinking. She was joking about the partying. She got into his car and clapped hearing T-pain fill the car. "We're in the bed like ooh."she sang and laughed, leaning over and kissing his cheek before turning down the volume of the stereo for a moment. "I got my ipod with me two! We can dance in the hotel."She said with a smile. She could sing but prefered not to unless it was around close friends like Steven.

Steve shrugged "You didnt tell me were you stayed" He said as he shifted the car into reverse. Punching it backwards and slamming on the brake he spun the car around, shifting into first and taking off forward towards the apartment complex. He smiled and nodded "Thatd be fun. I do got a couple of 5ths of patron at the pad" He said. usually he didnt like to be the only drunk one in the group but aruond her it was different, for whatever reason.

Candace smiled and put her seatbelt on as he took off. She laughed. "Maybe i'll try a little just for you alright?"She told him and pushed her bangs back from her face. She wiggled a little in her seat as they drove to his apartment. "I'm ready to partay!"She said excitedly
